Bitcoin transactions can not be charge back. Onse you  press the button send and the transaction get confirmed, you can not cancel it .

So do not deal with people or sites you do not trust

No you can't recover or reverse claim the transaction in bitcoin. It is like non-reversible type of processor like perfectmoney or liberty if you have used them before but works on different platform or technology.

Better try to be in safe side and don't invest in high returning hyips and ponzis.

That's what's good about Bitcoin (not that good in your case) , it's impossible to make a chargeback unless you didn't use fees on the transaction then the BTC should go back to you after few days , however most of websites and individuals only accept confirmed Bitcoin transactions .




Honestly I never got scammed by this kind of website because I use simply my brain . Like there isn't free money , there isn't free Bitcoin .
Scams are too obviously and they are most of the time "too good to be true" , (E.g deposit 0.1 BTC , receive 0.2 BTC) .

The only way to prevent this is to only invest or give your bitcoins to people you trust.  Once a bitcoin is sent, there is no feasible way to get it back unless the other person sends it back.  Aka, if they are trying to scam you, the bitcoins are gone and you cannot get them back.  Do not transact with paypal or any other reversible payment gateway and bitcoin, you are likely to get scammed.

No one can prevent scammers from existing. Because simply we can not control all internet sites. But we can avoid them by do not send them any money, do not believe their unreal promises, do not think that there is a site that will double your money. Do not be fool then regret about it later

The problem with current payment systems and banks is that - they are thinking for you. You give them  your money and that is all. You can forget about it.
With bitcoin you can actively think about what you are doing - who do you trust, where are you sending your money, in what project you invest etc.
Nobody will help you if you fuck up your bitcoin transactions. Bitcoin is for people who doesn't want to be leaded by the hand all the time.

One of the easiest way to prevent being scammed (other than avoiding fishy promotion at all cost) is by doing a quick search on google or this forum about the site you're about to invest. Suppose that you're about to invest on a site called xyz, a little research on this site will mostly tell you how legit the site is. If it is scam, there will be lots of post telling you that xyz is scam. One quick reminder, though, is to never trust invest site which offer irrational ROI.

You can't recovert it, its better stay away from investing sites that promise 200 % in one week. Bitcoins are money, you will not invest dollars on this kind of sites, for the same reason why you invest bitcoins?

Everyone here has missed the reason why Paypal can 'recover' your money. Its because there's an endless supply of fiat!

Although this has to do with other things too. Bitcoin just emphasizes how important to remebmer the obvious rules when trading or when doing any other operations with money (doesn't matter digital or fiat).

simply dont hand money over to scammers promising large profits.
simply dont hand money over to scammer who you cant find where they live or who they are in the real world
simply dont hand money over if its more than your prepared to lose
simply dont hand money over if you think the scheme is too good to be true.

realistically if a company can make a profit, they wont tell anyone. they will want to keep it a secret so they can profit without competition or without others creating walls to prevent them profiting. so if someone is saying they can make you profit.. stay away

Lawyers will take his rest of the money but at the end. They lawyers will advise that you lost the case because you didn't use the brian. What is good. And what is scamms. Here in this world money is life once sent, it will not be recovered easily.

You can't really prevent it, it happens on a daily basis now that bitcoin users get scammed. Choose carefully as to what you're investing it to.
Do some research as well to see if the source is trustworthy.

i agree with A7mos. once you have pressed the transaction button it is impossible to recover anything you sent. therefore, i highly agree with a7mos. Dont deal with people or anyone who you dont know well.

There is no way to recover BTC that has been sent and confirmed from illegitimate sites. In the future be much more careful with your Bitcoin if something sounds too good to be true!

You can't get you Bitcoin back, unless the tx didn't confirm yet. Then you can do a double spend and cancel the tx. Research a site before investing!

I know a way. Do not invest into scam sites and nothing to recover.
