It will take a lot of time for someone to upload it for you then you to download it , but since you are willing to do that ...
why not just clean the whole folder and let Bitcoin Core download it from zero ? that way you make sure everything is fine .

i think the OP got a duff chain from some random website..
maybe best to get it from the official place

just googled
https://bitcoin.org/bin/block-chain/
seems out of date but atleast gets the ball rolling for atleast 6 years of data

you will end up with corruption, most likely, everytime i touch those fail in that way, something went uttelry wrong...

it's better to restart from zero as suggested

yeah why would you want to get it from someone else when you can just run core , the time difference is not a big issue..  I would be worried also about the security of what i was sent.

i Reformatted and had to reinstall the whole chain last night, At this time now im down to only 26 weeks, I doubt it would have been much quicker even if i was to download the blockchain from a torrent or direct download. Unless you are in a major rush i think you are probably just as well using core. I do notice that for some reason it does not seem to download at full speed all the time. Sometimes im downloading at 6mb/s but at other times its down to a few kbs for a while.

If you are using 0.11.2, isn't it advisable to get the latest blockchain files?
