Most of the tutorials are outdated, and are extremely confusing. I will have it up and running in 48 hours maximum if the blockchain downloads fast. Hosting can be in West Coast, USA - Central, USA - and East Coast, USA. For example CK's pool - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=763510.0 It is set up has the hardware running for a BTC solo pool. If you are thinking you will make pool and profit chances are slim. If your thinking for learning... then I could see that. But it's not going to bring you profit.
