Hey nice site, I signed up with a similar site that was being advertised on here yesterday but they didn't offer a products list to browse. So what type of files can you upload, like is any zip/rar file ok and how much do you charge for the service?

And as far as fee, I charge a .001 fee as a "quality control", but have no problem waiving it if a user has something really great they want to sell.   Upon sale, 3% is paid to us, and 2% to the affiliate program.   If no affiliate is present at purchase, the extra 2% goes to downloadabit.

very happy to see anyone make a service like this, some of the scripts and the product being sold quite a lot, but almost all of them are quite expensive, even for a faucet script very expensive ;D

Yes script are too expensive to afford i am looking at slot machine script and price for it is 0.45BTC, i don't think anybody will buy this.

That is the least expensive slot machine script I have seen.   The other one I have seen is 3 BTC.  How are you planning to bankroll a casino if .45 is to much for a script?

Looks nice. How the transaction works? I means buyer need to transfer the BTC first then the buyer can download the script? I think you should add FAQ feature on your site.

The site had a heavy to load on me, it takes too long time to get in the site , I guess it down now.
FAQ page always recommended in every website to make it looks professional so yes it a must creating a FAQ page.

We don't use escrow.   It is a feedback driven marketplace.   We encourage sellers to have demos so you as a user know what you are buying.  However, if we receive reports of abuse relating to a seller or product, we will remove products and ban sellers as needed. 

Once the system has been around a little longer, sellers will have established a reputation and feedback.

Okay the website is up now, but I still can't see the FAQ page it's necessary to be added I guess just a suggestion.

this kind of websites usually dont check the files/softwares or goods being uploaded and sold by their customers so removing ponzi scripts should be done manually by their support team but that will need time and it will probably reduced the traffic and number of customers they have now

And yeah, there are a few sellers who have that type of script.   It's 2016, I'm pretty sure no one takes that stuff seriously anymore.  When they see a doubler or ponzi, they treat it like a gamble if they choose to invest in one. 

And I do a basic check for malware and certain file extensions.   I just banned a whole block of IP's and deleted 3 products that a user kept attempting to upload.   I am trying to make sure the products are as legit as possible.

This type of problem will continue to happen unless you put a strong internal escrow service in place whereby the product will be thoroughly checked before giving to buyer.

Sellers will develop a feedback profile after the site has been around for a while.   I personally do my best to check the legitimacy of products after they are uploaded.   There are always warning signs when a product is fake.  For fake products there are generally no demo.  I also scan for viruses and malware with clamav

Attention faucet owners, we now have a banner that allows you to embed a feed of popular products into your faucet using your referral link.   If someone buys just a single product using your ref link, it will pay out better than weeks of banner ads.   PM me with dimensions needed and I will send you the code.

You really need to do that or else you will get a lot of complaints from real owners of the products that are being uploaded ,this is a good way to keep the site clean or it will be treated like a seller of nulled products or imitation

I have a support system in place.   If I receive complaints, I will investigate and remove products if necessary.

there are lots of users like me searching for an ecommerce script to use and sell something for bitcoin. maybe you should also consider creating one and sell on your site.

I have a question, how do you check the product listed on your site are not stolen goods? Say if someone created Dice script and sold it to someone and then this someone put in on Downloadabit under his own name?
Do you refund your customers in that case or you just ban scammer and that is all?

Sellers list products, I check to make sure they are a reasonable facsimile of what they say they are selling.    I don't install or test scripts.  That would be a ridiculous amount of work for such a small commission.   Sellers are responsible for the integrity of their product ultimately.

this one seems to be intresting for me. But i don't think any strategy work for longer period in bustabit. I have my self tried different strategies with rdp running 24hour. Only loss. It would have been better if you have area to see comment about this service from the buyers. :(

Not quite.   As we only deal in digital goods.    But similar in the sense that it is multi vendor and you can sell your own products on there.

Great idea, i have been planning on listing software related product on pyiv but, their checkout system is very compliment.
So, marketplace like this will be an alternative.

Let's encourage & support them by participating, also i suggest renting few sig space on this forum and on other bit-related forum's. Marketing should play a vital role if, you want to see the site succeed online.

If by "color change only" you mean, color change, a support ticket system with staff that answers questions, and 25% of the fees, then yes.    We bought the source from them because we liked it and are doing our own thing.

As you guys are not using Escrow then the site may be friendly to Scammers , moreover if you ban them they will make another account and will continue scamming , Just see bitffy how they are managing escrow and making difficult for scammers to scam.

The Bitify system is GREAT for physical goods.  However oftentimes you wind up with the opposite problem with digital goods.  Buyers getting what they were promised and requesting a refund.   Currently, every single seller on our site is willing to use forum escrow if people are uncomfortable buying on the site directly. 

Nice service just need more variety is all from sellers.

It is very much glad to see this downloadabit.com growing up day by day, and new product coming daily basis. I have joined in it and found it great. But just want to say that the affiliate commission is too low. 2% is not fair affiliate rates. You should consider to increase affiliate rate to 10% at least.

Thank you, I appreciate the feedback.   Unfortunately, if I were to raise the affiliate percentage to 10, the sellers would ultimately be paying the price as they would be taking a much larger chunk out of their profits.   I take a relatively low fee for the house  fees (3%) as I want sellers to have an incentive to sell on our site and to keep their prices as low as possible.

The bad thing is: downloadabit isn't optimized for mobile phones. So for me it's not possible to upload a product. I'm using iPhone, maybe someone has the same problem?

For security, we only allow zip files to be uploaded.   We are working on getting it better optimized for sellers in mobile but for now you will need to upload via a PC.

Yes, ebooks can be sold.  They just need to be put into a zip file before being uploaded.

Also from Philippines here, and it works fine for me, dude. Maybe it's your IP address, indeed. Try to use any VPN if you are still having trouble connecting the site.

I would disagree.   The products sold on our site are the same price or lower than elsewhere.

Sorry for the few hours of down time.  We did a few back end upgrades and we are online and running at 100% again.

The majority of our sellers are well established sellers from other marketplaces.    I could not possibly read every line of code of every sellers script, but we have not had any issues.

While I have no problem with it and I like the idea very much.  I currently only have support for zip archives.   I have long planned to have support for services and other digital goods, but have been rather busy and not had the time to implement it.

He sold the script on the forum here, and I asked him to list it as people had said some good things about it.   He has not had any sales yet on my site, so all I have to go by is what people had said on here.   I would suggest you contact him via our site and ask for a demo via screenshare if you are concerned about the functionality of that particular product.

And no, not a single one of the scripts in the quoted post are open source on github.   Feel free to do the research and show me where, because I personally know the writer of two of them.

The ones that I specifically reference here I have checked.   If you have a question about a specific script, PM me and I will take a look for you.   Your best bet is to contact the sellers directly and have them show you a working demo of whatever you want to buy, and have them prove they own it by asking them to upload a text file to the server or something similar.

Picked up a gambling script there and sale went through without a hitch.

Cool concept, though i only see a bunch of Scam Software + templates. There doesn't seem to be a demand for regular stuff like uncracked accounts and plus most of the stuff on the website is really expensive. 0.35 for $300 in Amazon? Not interested.
