I usually have from 0.8BTC to 1BTC in a dedicated electrum wallet and transfer out all my winnings out to my cold wallet and keep it at 1BTC

Nope, once I decide to gamble, I start with a small amount like 1 MBTC or something similar but in the end , get back to zero. Good thing I do cash out most of the BTC I make into USD

No, but I do have a few different wallets that I use for gambling and various other internet purchases. And also cold storage for my big wins and Bitcoin savings.

More like a weekly limit, I do not gamble every day.

Well i dont really have a wallet for gambling, i use one wallet for trading and the other for everything else. Most of the coin is spread around on exchanges and altcoins tho, got to keep trading lol. I understand why some people would use a dedicated gambling wallet but i never found it very useful for myself.

i did not gamble daily it's weekly and maximum bet amount in a week 0.1 only half for sports parlay and the rest for playing game in casino.

You should start betting with a certain percentage of your bankroll.

Say you bet 0,01% of your total bankroll in each bet. This means that as you win or lose, your bet size increases or decreases.

Using a strategy like this makes sure that you never go bankrupt, as you always only bet a percentage instead of a fixed amount.

Fortunately most of the sites I bet with are based on MoneyPot.So I don't really have to maintain a special wallet.Bank roll starts with 0.01 btc for dice games and 0.05 for slots .The winnings are again transferred to the moneypot.

I don't have a separate wallet for gambling. I used to have a separate wallet quite awhile back when I used to gamble more than I should. Now I just transfer a dedicated amount to a site and take it from there.
I don't have a daily limit as I don't play every day but I do limit myself to under 0.5btc when I do play.

Yes, I have a separate wallet for gambling. I think its more safe to not mix the savings with the money to gamble. If not its possible to loose all the bitcoins. And my daily limit for gambling is low normaly 0.05 btc but can be higher i gamble with sports bets.

When i used to play poker quite seriously the whole poker bankroll was different from the money i needed in life.  The only method i used was money in the cashier = poker, money withdraw from cashier = life money.  Worked pretty well.  When you have an edge on betting its not such a worry if you play the same stake consistantly.

I don't use a separate wallet. All my coins are kept in a single one. I don't amble everyday but when I domay max bankroll is 0.05 btc. I amnot that rich so Ican't afford to loose big so I keep it low. ;D

Unlucky on that kind of loss you must have a big bankroll to be able to gamble 0.5btc a day!

Kind of, it is a separate wallet, but not only for gambling, it's for unplanned expences, but mostly it ends up as a deposit of some kind.

And to the earlier poster who said they use coinbase as their gambling wallet, be careful with that as it is prohibited. They've been known to close/block people's accounts for gambling.

You got pretty high bankroll each day, that mean in a month you would spend around 15 btc. I think that is too much for gambling but I dont know if that is too much for you, because sometimes you will never know you will get profit or not like you set your bankroll 0.5 may be you can earn more than that with low bankroll. I dont know this is true or not but if you set more bankroll your mind will think that you still got more money to play so you will keep on losing. I ever experienced that so from that day I never want to play with high bankroll anymore

The faucet earning from the gambling site's freebie is the only money I do use for my gambling. Because even 1 mBTC also a big money for me, I do not take risk with that much big money.

i am using blockchain.info wallet as my gambling wallet, i find it convenient as it was webbased. about my bankroll, i usally limit my self to 0.1 BTC, but i dont gamble everyday, just when bored or feeling lucky that day.

I have a couple of online wallets for security purpose but never opened any wallet separately for gambling. I have one xapo account which I use for daily usage purpose because it is very continent to handle and also no transaction fee so I use this wallet for even gambling.

I also have separate wallet to keep my holding safe.At start of gambling I was using same wallet and once just in try to recover my losses I lost all what I had.After that I began to keep my holding in multiple wallets to not enter in main funds in case of loosing some money.I transfer according to my limits each time I play.

I use electrum, with 3 separate wallet.

1. to sport betting (with daily limit 0.1 bitcoin)

2. to dice games (with 0,02  daily limit)

3. to casinò (generally roulette, blackjack and slot) with 0,05 daily

I kind of have separate funds for it but they are not just for gambling which is mainly sports. It is just hot wallet and that is for anything and the rest is cold and would never be transferred to gamble. Some of you have really big allowances  :o :D

That is a good way of managing gambling funds. I never loan money to any gambling sites but only bet in sports with small amount so I don't worry much about the bankroll. Once in a while I bet in cricket matches mostly and directbet site never ask to loan you're funds so I no need to worry on bankroll.

I control myself not to gamble more than 0.1 btc a day. It sounds a lot, but since I am betting only on football now, I at most gamble 2 days or 3 days  a week.

maybe you should really consider quitting, youre throwing away more than 40 usd a day, all for a few seconds of "fun" as the addicts on this section will claim. just quit and you could save up for something really worth buying, like a new tv, i dont know.

$40 a day is a fairly large amount of money to be spent gambling, if it was something like $40 a week it would make a bit more sense. If you can bet $40 a day and still be paying bills and so, I have to wonder what kind of job you have. Because it must be paying you a shit ton to bet at that rate.

Sometimes gambling may tempt you to deposit more, which may eventually wipe out all of your money. So, better have a defined limit for your bankroll on daily basis or number of times basis.

There is no way he keep trying martingale. I believe that he already knew that martingale is not really good in a long run and still he using it again for every single day? Why are you keeping all your Bitcoin in Coinbase? (that's what I understood by reading your post). I think it hasn't been said enough apparently, that you should never, never keep your main stack of Bitcoins outside anything that isnt:

a) A Bitcoin Core wallet with your wallet.dat encrypted and secured
b) A BIP38 encrypted paper wallet
c) A Trezor or other similar hardware wallets

Storing your main Bitcoin stack outside of those options is being pretty insane or just don't get understanding the risks yet.

You got quite a good bankroll for daily basis too mate, but I prefer to keep and have as low bankroll as possible because at the end of the day I am pretty sure that I would be left with nothing as my profits usually, so the less I start with, the smaller is my loss.

I usualy try to keep my stack the same way for trading and for gambling. Only use about 10% of my total stack for each play.

Depending on if I am betting on a sports match or if I'm playing dice or poker, usually the bankrolls are different. I have a Bankroll for Sports, poker and random dice funds. Sports, I will usually bet between 0.02 and 0.1 a day, depending on the matches and odds. Poker, I like to bring atleast 0.05 into play a cash table. Dice I usually start with about 0.02. All of this changes when I'm feelin a bit lucky.

That was not good habits, do all in every bets will surely get lost in the 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th etc.
Unless you do all in once you win only and stop bet immediately after that win.

I rarely gamble with large amounts, it can lead to huge losses. Just basically whats in my fortunejack account, but my limit would be 0.10 BTC per day or per session at least.

I usually bet on dice sites with a 0.001% of my bankroll size bet per roll, and when my total wagered becomes 1%, no matter if in the green or red, I stop and leave. This isn't my daily limit, but my weekly limit. I mark all my betting info on a spreadsheet, to keep track of myself.

I used to have a serious betting problem in the past, betting multiple thousands every week or so. Now, I bet max 50 bucks a week, which is a big improvement, I guess.

Like to keep it small and separate from other funds. Usualy .1 or so at a time. Nothing I will be to pissed to loose and enough to build up a nice win session. My only issue is quitting while I get far ahead.

In my opinion, daily limit is based on how much money we have. So maybe 0.1 is something that he can afford to lose daily, but it will be something too big for us :)
But his plan is too greedy, always try to make 1btc from 0.1. If I was him, I would prefer to get only 50-70% of the daily bankroll.

You're right mate , actually it is depends on how much he have and how much he want to spend on it.
Planning make 0.1 to 1 bitcoin everyday and continuously, I think it is seems like mission impossible , not impossible exactly more likely very high target.

I do have a separate wallet for my holdings and one online separate to perform my gambling activities.I am currently involved in sports betting more and casino less that is the reason I didn't set any specific amount as daily limit as in sports betting you have better control over your gambling.

My daily limit is set at 0.30BTC which I decided to play at maximum in case I don't get good odds and need to continue.I stick to my limit even if I will loose this because this is what i can afford to loose not much than this.

Most of the time I gamble even less than that because to lose 0.01 BTC is something I can't be happy with. I don't have separate money but before start gambling I always transfer some money into my blockchain.info wallet.I keep my bitcoins in bitcoin core desktop wallet with safe.This is one good trick to not enter in my initial money to remain without all.

I think a good idea is to limit your yearly investment to only 0.1. Anything more and it's just too much unless you are already rich enough that you can be risking money in stupid ways. Gambling is for fun, trying to gamble big time is suicidal, unless you are pretty wealthy. Sometimes its nice to go crazy and do a bigger gamble, but only once a year tops.

That is good having a low limit but is that a low limit for you? The problem i see there is that you keep trying to make profit everyday? For how long have you tried this? Hopefully you wake up before getting a larger amount and blowing it in future.

If you already know that very day your gambling with small amount but not making profits than why you would like to waste your money again with larger amount on daily basis? Just continue with small amount until you realize you can't win in gambling so that your loses will be less.

Yes because if someday you feel lucky you would gamble a lot more. But i think all day for me are same, everyday and any day I gamble turns out to be a bad one, except some obviously.

I don't think just by having separate wallet, we can reduce gambling because as long as there is money available for gambling people will make sure they will get those while gambling. Whether those coins are in online wallet or offline so it is better to control yourself to play certain money in a day than having a separate wallet.

I simply don't have a daily limit since I don't gamble on a daily basis. If I do gamble it's like once every few months or so. If I gamble online I set a limit to myself between 1 btc and 0.5 btc to spend. If I lose it all I stop playing and won't gamble again until a couple of months later or so.

well technically yeah , if the gambler is addicted then separate wallet won't change anything cause the gambler will continue on betting till he bust everything
but if someone want to take gambling seriously by playing poker or betting on sports , he will need a separate wallet so he can know his limits and how he is doing , at least this is my theory  :)

I see that a lot of people here have some big money I think 0.8 daily is just way to much in my comfort to gamble.
With that kind of money I can just eat something delicious that gambling.
For sure I will lose all that money if it was me.

I do have a wallet for gambling only.
I don't gamble everyday but if I do I set my limit on 0.5
I do this every now and then, I don't gamble on a particular day or time.

0.5 per month just for gambling is a little bit too much as I say. I dont know your strategy how to bet but if you keep too much you will want to get more money that your balance right now so if I am you I would not spend so much on just gambling. Get some profit through signature campaign is a great. Save it 1 month and then bet it on the next month. This will be wise enough to spend your money

Or the best way is just play gambling just once every year and save at least 0.5 bitcoin with it.
This good for people that are not in to gambling and you are not that skilled. If you are really a good gambler 0.1 every month is more than enough. You know that people here are greedy to earn some money fast.

I gamble mainly with my signature campaign earnings so my bankroll is limited to that. I usually use 50% of my total income for my gambling sessions.
I don't need to keep separate wallet for my gambling needs because I keep my gambling discipline.

Really nice, I never took gambling as serious that I felt the need to create a separate wallet though, but nice to know. I too will follow your idea of separate wallets.



You have set right bankroll, because sometimes people set too high Bank Roll and loose a lot of money.

Well, gambling should be take as serious though. especially you gambling with your bitcoin, and you can lose it if you lose.
I don't have daily limit for gambling, but i have weekly limit for gambling is 0.05-0.1 bitcoin per week.

back when i was in a gambling related signature campaign i transferred a portion of my campaign's earning to my gambling wallet and used that for the bankroll which would make my bankroll near 0.1-0.05BTC.

but nowadays especially because of the price rise i only gamble with giveaways and what i have left on the site's wallet which is usually very small amounts.

After reading some replies here from members,what I have come across is keep the lowest bankroll and try to just gamble for fun, especially if you play dice, because you can loose all in the lust if you do not stop.

$5 per day should be a decent not very high and not very low for daily budget. But if your really losing all your money every day than you can consider not to gamble every day instead gamble once in a while with slightly bigger bank roll so you will get bigger bank roll to play gambling.

$30 per day is quite high for gambling spend unless if you have lot bitcoins which brought during cheap price otherwise for me it is quite a big amount to spend on gambling. Sports betting have some chances to win but in dice games mostly we will lose if we play regularly.

5$ can be small for some people and at the same time can be really big for someone. Like in my country the average wage of lower middle calss is around 10$ a day, so for them at least is big.

It is 0.02 btc.  win or lose.   Just 0.02.   And I use this to bet on sports..  I most of the time make profit.  Because I go for safe bets.

Oh thats bad, I think if you cannot afford to gamble bro, you should try to avoid it rather blidly loosing your precious money in gambling. Gambling should be mean for fun and never should be taken seriously.

my daily bankroll limit is somewhere from 0.005 bitcoins to 0.007, i dont prefer gambling with big money as i lose a lot but still i think its a pretty decent sum to play of

My bankroll is some 7-8$ and sometimes the leftover after the useful money, suppose I get 50$ and then I have spent 40$ , then those 10$ are for gambling.
I love this way and sometimes it gives me profit too rather than just loss.

You made quite decent profit from your 0.0005BTC so you should withdraw some of your profits because in gambling we don't know when you will become greedy and lose everything quickly.

I no need any bankroll because I only bet in sports using directbet site so I no need bankroll. I just bet small amounts on each games.

Why you do not need it? Not only casino games, you also need a bankroll to bet on sport. This bankroll will not lead you to lose more of your money so you will need it in every bet that you make. So if you lose you are just let it go, dont want to get profit to cover some of your loss by keep playing it?

that is a very good control u have over there. i should have use this method as i tends to bet high on guts and it is those unlucky days that i got burned fast.

Indeed, I think most ( I might say maybe 75% ) people here dont even earn 30$ in a day here. And if you have that much just to spend on gambing, its pretty impressive.

Where did i say it was a problem to earn profit everyday? Are you feeling ok, i mean do you know what gambling actually is? Do you make 0.15-0.45 every month? It is very simple, if you keep playing against a house with edge-the house will win in the end. No matter what numbers you dream up as being possible.

I dont have large bankroll, i use to bet only on my research of bets where i am confident that i will win, according to that i play, my limit is 0.02btc which i split with my bets and play with various bets in sports betting, win or loss that is my limit for the day.
