i'm inclined to think that 1300 will be the new stable price, and 1800 the peak

i'm certainly convinced that the last ath will be surpassed

I would say more than $10k price level is possible for bitcoin in 2016 itself.
There are lot of reasons backing my speculation, large user base from halving consequence and alternate option to investors  due to large market cap are some of them.

may not be too high even  people start using bitcoin as payment instead of money and halving will happen this year, there are many sites that scamming people and dump a ton of bitcoin like last year

I think the highest price it will reach year would be $700 but I do hope I am wrong and that it goes over $1000 atleast. It might happen after/around halving.

$600-700 is my guess. It's likely to be a solid year but there's still plenty of stuff that needs ironing out. If I'm horribly wrong then so be it.

I voted for the $700 price high by the end of 2016 as it kinda looks as the ideal one by the speed is going at the moment, it goes up for a some $ then it goes a bit down (the trend of the recent events) so it would be fair to say that if it continues the same way, then that would be the most likely event here.

Voted for $700, and this could only be reached after the halving, the price can become even more higher but maybe not stable but if it stays above $700 it would be good.

Around $600 - $700 would be a fair guess for a stable price this 2016. We may reach a higer price but I think the price will not be stable until it reach back to around my guessed price. ;D

i would like to vote $1000 i think this is the highest price in 2016 and lot of people talking about bitcoin will reach to $2000 but i think it does not happen in this year

Fundamentals are still problematic and the halving is already calculated into the current price.
When people realize all the problems of bitcoin and the predictions of a big price increase at the halving doesn't happen a major crash is guaranteed.

The worst case scenario is $800s peak and dump to $600s, while best case scenario is probably $1600-$3200.  If there's another 2008 crash this year, which the odds seem to be 50% or more, then it can easily hit $10k-50k.  It only requires the 16 million millionaires on earth hedging with 1% of their wealth ($10,000) to hit that number, and that doesn't count people with more money like billionaires, corporations, people with less money like average citizens, or countries and banks buying Bitcoin as part of a reserve.

Bitcoin price is also denominated by it's float.  Since most Bitcoin is hodl'd and doesn't even move, the coins that are mined and dumped play a large part of the float.  If demand is static, removing 1/2 of the float for gasoline doesn't make the price go up 50%, it goes up exponentially, so there's that to consider.

So yea, if you think another 2008 crash is going to happen soon, then you'll likely see very expensive, something like $10,000 Bitcoins this year.

I think it will be anything between 800 to 900 because it will be hard for price to go over 1k (past ATH) because there we may see some large selling offers. I have voted for 900.

Voted $1000. To be more specific; it'll spike once or twice shortly above $1000 but I think the median price will be much lower. I'd guess from roughly $400-450 nowadays to around $650-700 in the last months of this year. New ATH this year? I'm not sure but it'll be a close call.

In other words; I'm cautiously optimistic about Bitcoin this year.

In my mind I am just thinking bitcoin will just reach at 1200 dollars again.
Than later it will drop because it won't be stable enough in that high price.

Not too sure, by the trends, that it will hit the anticipated $1000 mark this year but definitely next year.

I predict around $900 by the end of this year and roughly $1000 by the end of Q2 2017.

My guess for the high of 2016 would be in the mid to upper $2000's and I wouldn't be surprised if it broke $3000 at all. I don't think this will happen until well after the halving though, like three or four months after.

I think the highest price in 2016 will be between $1200-$1500. I hope the stable point will be above $1000 when people will start to sell after the block halving.

The higher price which can be reached this year maybe 1,000 dollars and maybe will go back at a lower target.

I voted $4000.   I seem to be more bullish than most.

That's funny. May be it will reach up to 1000$ to 1200$ not more than that. Many speculations telling that is maximum amount we can bet due to block halving.
Better take a time buy bitcoin now and utilize it When it reaches to high price. I mean after halving.

500, maybe 600, but not really more... normally.
Of course, a lot dream now of 10k or such bubbles, but the chance for them is small.
10k is a price we should talk about only in a good couple of years...

A price of $10k in 2016 is definitely not realistic as long as we won't see any final doom days in the tradiotional financial markets.
To reack 10k we will need many more years I think.
And a forecast for this year I really have no idea.Everything between $600-$900 would be great.More than $1k (stable) would be awesome.

$550. That's definitely within the realms of possibility. Nothing too crazy's gonna happen in 2016 in my opinion.

I think it will be around $600 at the end of the year 2016 at it seems to quiet achievable looking at the present growth of bitcoins, and I believe its a descent value to hold.

My rough guess is anything between $500 and 700$.....wonder what Nostradamus would think

I hope I'm wrong and we get a huge halving pump but I can't see it, I see the opposite.

Maybe he must have left something in his quartets but how hard would decipher it. But yes agree with you, I was thinking until $800 but $1000  could be feasible.
