I heard someone saying that fortune teller knows that when our luck comes to us but for me no because our luck is in our hands
Who made our luck? we because we are have own decision not the fortune teller can decide what we choose to bet..

I would have to say the the fortune teller only knows when they getting paid. We are the masters of our own destiny. Luck is not really in our hands however if we make certain choices we do create our own luck whether that being buying that lottery ticket, placing that bet and if we believe in luck we are likely to create our own rather than chance

There are lot of myths and facts about luck in different mythology.Depends on which you're ready to follow.According to Buddhist mythology,keeping a laughing buddha or those china coins and Yaki plants bring luck.In a pet shop near my area ,there was a fish sold at $10,000.Its said that this fish brings you lot of luck and money.I don't know how this works but you gotta believe in something if you're searching the secrets to luck.

I think none of the above. We have some effect on our luck but luck is also there which keep on effecting our daily life. I believe in luck but i don't think anybody can tell our luck.

But in fortune teller game i have won quite nice win with low stake in cloudbet.  ;D ;D

I don't think this one actually belong to the gamblig section.;D Anyway, I believe tht luck is somethig that is attached with our karma. We do good we receive good. Also if we mainain a healthy aura i ourselves, it attracts more good karma and thus what oher people call luck will be more attracted and give us more good stuffs. ;D

IMO, neither. Because you yourself will never know that you are lucky or might not lucky. Secondly, I'm not sure about fortune teller but it seems they only performed well in the movies.

I don't think anyone can tell you when your luck is coming to you. You're going to find out when you're getting lucky. You can't really expect anyone to know this. I don't believe in fortune tellers anyway. They are most likely only out for your money.

I just read some of my horoscope and just try if I have luck that day.
If I win I will just do more and more bets until I lose and just stop, because there is no point to go further when your are losing.
But for me luck is just luck the another half you need to be skilled for the game you have.

Sometimes I read my horoscope too, but they are not accurate. :-\
What if losing is only the game of luck? I mean, yeah, you keep losing all the time but who knows, at one point your luck might suddenly came out of nowhere? But before your luck appears, you already stop gamble because of the fear of losing a lot...

Yes, no one can predict our future and our luck also.
Only we can do is testing our luck. But it would cost more. Additionally we can not make use of the result of the testing our luck. Luck changes for every second. That's the reason life goes more interesting like gambling.

You more than likely heard a lie. In the days of old people used to believe in them a lot and for some strange reason certain people in this day of age still want to believe in fairy tails. It is of course possible there is a few legit fortune tellers but my guess is you will not ever come in contact with a legit one. You will find 99.5% of the scammers though. We kind of make our luck because of the situations we put ourselves in but you cant now go to a casino and say you will have good luck and get it regularly.  
My thought is its lies and my vote is none of the above.

We can know when our luck comes when it arrives and we a re lucky. There are some who can make their own luck. And then there are those who don't make their own luck, but are ready to take advantage of it when it does come.

We don't even know when is our luck come, it's just a sudden thing that rarely come to our life

well you can predict it yourself if its your lucky day or not, if you win a lottery ticket then its most probably a pretty lucky day for you, but either way i would not recommend to gamble too much

fortune teller would just take a lot of money from you and tell nonsense i wouldnt believe it, you should feel when you are lucky and when you are not, its the only way to predict that

well, yes. But our common sense is always with us to decide whether we are going for just too much. You cant dream ( well, you can but should not ) of making 100 btc with a 0.001 deposit . Being realistic and wise is the best luck.

The fact is Luck is random and definately it comes to eveyone some point in life and doesn't stay for long.

Well the best thing we can do is predict what will probably be the outcome  , but we can never know when we are lucky unless we try it our self if you win large sum of bitcoins with a very small capital then probably you can tell that luck is on your side!

ancient asian fortune tellers were good (not sure about present ones), and they left good books to teach the work, and there are still ppl keep reading them and become good fortune tellers, but not many. call this asian case fortune teller may not exactly right, though.
about creating luck with your own hands, i can't see it work anywhere on gambling. i think using it on gambling is misuse.

I honestly don't think there's such thing as luck. Maybe we make our own "luck", but it's all up to RNGesus. Maybe he makes our luck? ;D go ask him!

But seriously. Luck is an opinion. You could get a winning streak, only to lose everything straight after. Was that good luck, or bad luck? Or maybe just plain old odds at work? Id say the latter.

You can try to visit a fortune teller some times they are right, but the most of them just lie.
If I was you if you feel not lucky today that don't play.
When you feel like happy and have luck try to play if you win and win I think it is your lucky day.

How are you going to predict the outcome? This is not going to work though because it is random. The one that you need is keep on trying when the time comes I am sure everyone will get to their luck just pray hard and work hard I believe it will come someday

Yes, No one can tell you when you will win or when you will loose.
All those predictors of your luck are just guessing in my opinion and you should never rely on them blindly. Instead of relying on somebody else we must groom to predict ourselves, then we can produce better results always for sure.

It's impossible to tell. Certainly not fortune tellers, they just want your money. Some say that if you stay positive yo have more chances at getting lucky, but sometimes I've been positive and im very unlucky, and sometimes im pissed off and get an amazing deal, which makes me feel better.

Yup if you are a believer person if something tell you like a furtune teller  that you will win this day or something.
I think you can win, but that is not always the case is just luck.
Been always positive is the way to play gambling being negative won't go your money back.

I wouldn't trust a source like a fortune teller. They make you pay them to tell your fortune, they are only interested into making money.

You can't trust any of those people. I would say it's best to trust your instinct. If you are winning multiple times in a row, you will notice that your luck is on your side.

Fortune tellers will tell you good luck when you pay them good money.  it is a business. I think what they are telling us is based on what they experienced and what they saw or read and nothing about our future or luck.


No one could say " I am lucky right now so I will gamble", all of the time we will tell our self that we are lucky when we got home and said "I am very lucky, I won a big prize".. so only us can tell it if we are lucky or not right after we win, and not before it.  :)

Luck comes with the opportunity given to us.
And when we grab that opportunity, it becomes luck.
Its like in gambling, when you bet in payout 2x in dice and you have already,
16 losing strike. You know to your self that it was an opportunity given to you.
As when times like this come. we all already know that sooner or later,
You will get the winning dice. Its now your choice if you will grab the opportunity or not.
and when you grab it. as you know it will be a winning dice. you call it now LUCK!!!

Nope, this is not how you know that you are in luck because when you played dice game, I am sure you can get your money in a short run but if you keep on playing there without stop I think you will soon run out of luck and losing your coin there. So i think if you want to know your luck or not you can't see it, you just have to feel it anyway or may be something will happen to boost your luck

I think this is correct as you are the one who controls your gambling. No one wil stop you and no one will force you to gamble, when the luck is with you, I think you can risk more and when luck is off, you can bet small. I think its best to be slow than being aggressive.

A fortune teller hehe i believe in this kind of human because when i was a kid someone told me that you play fruit gamble you bet this fruit then i won. My 1 peso becomes 20 pesos its 20 times than my capital. I only share my experience. :)

well luck is luck we don't know when it will come and i think no one does also. fortune teller for me wouldn't know as well because if they know when luck comes then they wouldn't be fortune telling anymore. so luck for me is as random as you can get.

Your arms can tell you, like if you work hard and will do more struggle in any place you want to involve then yu will be lucky at there as with that you will be able to get any target you face at there, and without hard work nothing is possible.

Precisely No one people can predict our luck even if they are a fortune teller nor an expert gambling analys it's because luck happen's like a quickshot, but it's rarely to be happen since as my experience i rarely won big on those betting games, but overall you can fell if your lucky today since your mood will be light for that day, maybe you has just been predicted to won but i think sometimes coincidence happen so better don't just listen quickly for just random though's  of other people.

The only rule I know to help a luck find us is to be active. But a lottery ticket once in a while. Play in casino sometime when you feel like it.
Help your luck that way. Other than that you can tinker with your luck. And if you lost couple bets it means that it is not your day... Give up.

ayng nobody can tell you when you arrive luck, it only can you experience yourself and maybe you will find that it is the luck you've got. well, maybe no one can say that you have to get lucky, but I think you can create your own luck, which you need to do is just try as much as possible

If a fortune teller can tell you when your luck will come, I dont think he will be a fortune teller all of the time because he should be a gambler who play anytime he knows when his/her luck is coming closer. LoL
Fortune teller is just like a sports predictor, who may failed on his/her prediction.

Nobody knows when we would be lucky on a particular day,hour, minute because we are just human and luck  is a thing that comes in an instant at vanishes in an instant too.  No fortune teller would  even predict when your luck comes to you, even  himself didnt even  know when his luck would arrive. lol

Just don't listen to fortune tellers they always say's positive just to some good payments, and luck just happened in a single blink of an eye yoy never know where it comes,  when it comes and how it occur it just surprise us and win big money for that bet maybe it is rarely to be happen but actually it is the best day for our betting times when its occuring,  we just need to focus our game so even though luck is not on our side we can still earn even a little profit from gambling.

I had a good laugh when I read the question. However I voted for none since our luck come from hard work which pays us in the long run. Gambling and such things depend on your luck and once in a blue moon you might win a jackpot but that does not mean you are full of luck or anything. Try not to encourage gambling when you are on a green streak because that is the reason why people lose as the House edge busts them.

Nobody can tell us when will luck come to us and make us rich. I don't believe in fortune tellers, or magic sorcerers. In many situations I catch myself in thinking about luck, in this moments usually I lose money I have.
Gambling is game for cool head, without any forcing and trying to push luck. Playing with brain is always much better then pursuing luck, depends of the game we choose this is more or less true, we can't compare luck in poker, dices or slots. Its not only luck coming to you. It also depends what you do with the money after you win it. Most people just gamble it all away. But its the lucky few who save it or withdraw it.

No one can tell when will it come like no one can tell what will be number  that comes out every roll(cheat aside). Even the no.1 fortune teller has nothing to do when it comes to gambling.

There is no one who can tell us our future or about our luck.
It totally depends upon ourselves and the decisions that we make, because if you know when to stop while winning a lot is luck, but starting to lose, trying to recover and losing more is where you do it wrong.

I personally don't think it is luck but view it as a mistake the casinos make that allow us to win when we do.
It is by fluke that anyone really wins big money or a jackpot as the casinos have cornered all the possibilities that at the end of the day they will be the winner and have the upper hand so they will continue to operate the next day and the next day and so forth.  :-\

It's hard to explain luck, luck comes unannounced and many times luck helped me to stay in poker tournament, or to make some money on slots.

But how many times I chased luck without success? How many times I lost all I have in pursue of luck? Too many times my friends, cause of that I don't believe in luck in gambling. For me one can tell if luck is on us but you can think that way. You can start telling or saying to yourself that you are lucky. It is like law of attraction, telling the universe you are lucky and then luck will stick to you. However, in a real sense one should be open to opportunity and ready to have it so that luck is always on our side. Luck it's just a phenomenon in the world of gambling, you can't explain itself. 

yes that is a fact that no one know about the fortune in advance, i also do not believe on them. and i think our luck is already decided in advance but it can be change by prayers, therefore we should always pray for our fortune.

The luck is like a guest, and we don't know when out guests will come our home and we don't know when they will go back. Like that luck also same we don't know when we will win our bet and when we will lose. The luck will come very rarely when it comes we just accept, That's it. in gambling luck is very important and no one will tell when it will come.

there is no one will know when our luck come to us but maybe some sign that we can understand. i think if we have to win for several games and win much money, then it means our luck is come to us and its work properly because we can win with easy but after we realize that luck is come, better we stop it as we can because if we are not stop for playing gambling then suddenly we can get loss everything in gambling table and we a regret for that.

Fortune tellers are not even accurate at all, they do sometimes are right but most of the time they aren't. In reality, no one has the ability to tell when will luck comes. your luck comes to you as soon as you start using your brain, think and learn some skills to use them. even in gambling you can improve your stats by being skilled in it.
and in the end what happens is only luck, you can call it accident some unpredictable thing or any other word you like but it is never predictable.

Well actually, I think fortune teller simply do predictions, so it is not necessarily true. Luck is only we who can make and no one knows for sure, because if everyone knows his luck maybe everyone will succeed because it already knows when he'll be lucky. Luck is also not entirely in our hands, other factors such as the state will influence their luck.

No one could able to tell  you  on when  you have   luck  because  it comes  unexpectedly and   you wont  notice  it also.  No fortune teller would able  to  say so. We can really say  its  our  lucky day when theres  a good thing that  happen  to  us.

that's ridiculous believing with fortune tellers if they can say when is our lucky day why can't they predict their own lucky day and place bet inside a lottery then win the jackpot i don't believe that there's someone who can dictate what will be the outcome of our fortune its just the timing and how we control it when that particular day comes in. better to be ready and make a good decision making if lucks bring to my life.

Luck do comes  on   random  way which we  wont really know  if  its  still there  or none. We cant  feel it and  no one  could able to tell  if  you do have the luck on a particular time. Thats why  most  gamblers  always believe  on   everyday  that  they might  be lucky on this  day   thats why they  keep coming back and do tend  to play gambling and  hoping for  luck  on  that time because they are aiming  for  money.

No dude, luck is there but it doesn't support everyone all the time. It comes and goes, but we don't know when.
But when it comes and we know that it's with us and we do the right part at the right time, we will win at any cost.

Luck has the bad habit of slipping past our hands when we need it the most ;D and shows up all of a sudden as well. If you think rolling a low probability roll is luck then you may consider it comparable to mathematical probability however in casino gambling, its hardly the fact since it is your greed that makes you roll and lose, sometimes getting lucky and rolling a big win. ;D

No one can tell you when your luck comes to you but it is you who can realize by being more attend to thing happening around you. When your luck is up things turn to be in your favor and more positive things appear. That is time when you can be sure that luck will support you to win most the gambling games. Like other said they can not know when luck comes but you will know it in the final or end of the game if you are playing a poker and win a large amount of money it means you are lucky like other said that they are lucky because they already win a good amount of profit. you will never know if you don't try your luck if you are lucky today or not. in the end you will see the result if you are lucky or not..

In the end of the session anybody can know that whether he was lucky or not, but in pre-session it's impossible to know about our luck we can only make prediction about we will win that time but can give guarantee to win there.

I dont think so,  winning  a particular  game  of  the day wont really assure you that you will still able to win  on tommorows play and  no people  could really say that  you are lucky for this day and even  themselves  cant even say or  know that  they are lucky on that particular day. Luck does cam on  random  basis and  no  one  could able   to say  on when and  where but i do believe  there are really lucky people  on  this world.

I think luck will come to us if we really need it. or we can call it a miracle also. I think only the consequence can tell us if luck come to us.  There are several things that we can't explain but miraculously it goes to our favor.  Something that science can't tell , though they tried to explain it thru defining chance  but mostly it is the safe way of them saying something that happen which is unexplainable by science.  So no matter what happen we cannot tell if we are lucky or not until the things happen to our favor and we think that luck come to us that time.

For me, luck is just a word to describe the end result of some actions. There are two type of luck, good and the bad one. When we took an actions and we had a bad result from it, then we consider that we had a bad luck and vice versa. So, no one can tell us when our luck will come.

Did not you just said it? And I agree that Luck comes in every result of our action.  But it is either bar or good.  So I derive from your explanation that luck is always in the result of our action, in gambling following this concept, we can tell luck will come on the result of the bet we made.

I agree,the first and most important question you can ask yourself is do you take action?And be honest with yourself because we often times delude ourselves when it comes to actually assesing our actions or the lack of them and when we have to critizise ourselves we don't.Luck comes but you have to be there and catch it and a part of that includes taking action and actually doing something different.

I usually does not do that, I don't pray for my gambling activities to be successful all the time. I am more getting realistic as I matured in gambling, I only call God when I am doing a real business, gambling for me is certainly an entertainment and I consider myself a winner already as soon as I enjoy the game and winning is just a bonus for me.

Sorry to hear that. I think you now learn your lesson well.  Never rely in your instinct whenever you are into gambling.  It is tricky, the moment you feel that  you are lucky then that is the moment you experience continuous loses. Gambling as stated, is a game of chance, where random event (result) happen without anyone making an effort.  Luck always come to us every time we gamble.  But the problem is the packaged that is together on that luck, will it be a good or a bad one.

I too personally do not believe on fortune teller, to me I think only God know about our luck and no other one can know about that. I think we can only change our fortune by praying for ourselves, otherwise fortune cannot be changed. So, only with God's bless, we may have profits from gambling but by predicting our luck.

I too believe on luck 100%. But I do not believe on fortune teller. I think they do not know any thing about fortune of a person, or even do not know about their own future, it is God who really know about our fortune, although our experience and our skill is also important for our success but I think luck play the most important role in our success.

I don't rely in my luck since I play mostly poker a game where luck has its place but skill is also important, however there are days where you know you are in the zone, it is difficult to describe but there are days where you know and you fell great and that is when I have made some profits.

I also believe on self hard work a person get that all for which he work hard and those who do not work hard get nothing. If we have to do anything and we are unlucky in that matter then we do not have to give up and have to try again and again one day we will be lucky to achieve that goal.

Feeling it happens sometimes, at least to me! Yeah, that is so right. We must not be so dependable on what other people say to us, even if it is a fortune teller. As i said, we are responsible for what will happen in the future and what may happen. I think fortune tellers just do things like that to make money, or they have really talent. The reality is no one can see the future, only God can and fortune teller are not God. Personally I don't believe in fortune teller,  not even 1% of what they say is true, they are basing it on their experience and other people's experience that they witnessed... It is excellent thinking that not to gamble to save your money. You should go to gambling only when you want some fun or entertainment once in awhile not every day with an only small amount. I don't believe that fortune tellers can predict anything accurately. Those guys just want to earn money from this business from a public who really in trouble by motivating them to do some things. Only us can tell if we are lucky or not and when we feel we are, then it's time to gamble and earn from our luck. Yes, no doubt about that that hard work, skill and experience are important for success. That's true, luck truly exist. Because we have seen several users who were not good in making strategies too wins often and several users who are rich just because of luck. One among the unluckiest is me, even today lost 0.02btc, though I made a good strategy upon the tennis event.

What of kind strategy you used in sports betting? Did you played at high odds or you lose at low odds? Using martinshit strategy in sports betting isn't too bad i think. Martingale method could be effective in sports betting, it's rare to see a team having a 10 losing streak. It's an entertainment and my understanding is that games can be rig as when a team is not winning they are slowly losing the market and the team will not profit in the business. The logic is easy to understand if you are a gambler with experience and you believe in rig games.

I would prefer to tell that my luck has come in pre bets that I can manage to lose. If I managed to win, with easy chances and managed to have real profit, I would set a limit and gamble. You have said it wrong bro, if you have faith in your luck then gambling would be very dangerous because after having some certain losses you would be very optimistic and might gamble too big. You are right we can not predict that when our luck will come. I think only a few people will get full day luck in gambling. For others, it will come 1 or 2 times. Because i am asking thread related with when luck come. Actually, about me, whenever i started to play betting always i think to win every bets, but only few and sometime not few i win in gambling. And sometime i am not thinking and by chance i win.
So in my thinking, i am not agree that someone tell you that luck is coming, we realize about luck when it had come.   

No one will tell you when your luck will come it's is unpredictable. If your time is good you will win your bets. Otherwise, you will end with the loss. The luck comes only a few minutes in a full day play. You have to utilise that time and make some profit. For me when I play low odds bets my luck always with me if I change my betting odds low to high then it will go.

I don't think that a fortune teller knows that luck is going to come to you because she can say that you're going to win with this and at the same you lose with the same thing.

I don't believe in anything like that. All I know is when you are lucky ,then you are lucky, and you can't tell that before it happens but after. Usually I can see those fortune tellers telling you things that you want to hear and warn you on things that you are already afraid of. It's like guessing the next thing that would happen on a movie according to what you see in other. 

No one could able to tell on when our luck would comes to us and no fortune teller would still do the same. The thing we could able to notice that we are lucky is after the results on a certain game because we do able to identify if its a lucky or a badluck day thats why we should really be wise on where to use those winnings.

Fortune teller can't even predict their own future. Fortune teller will just tell anything under the sun to tell what you want to hear. Haven't heard a fortune teller who won on lottery. But I don't know why people is still going to fortune teller nowadays and paying huge money just to predict your own future. We create our future and no one can't predict it by ourselves.

to me i personally believe on my luck, luck is an important part of our life. to me i as hard work and struggle is important for our luck but still i think without luck we cannot succeeded. in our practical life we can see that some good luck people are the owner big companies where more skillful and experienced people are working.

Well if they really can predict the future, i don't think we would have any fortune tellers at all because most of them would likely be millionaires already and have won lottery jackpots. For gambling, i don't think it's reliable to consult fortune tellers for tips as they should have applied these to themselves. Different fortune teller have their methods for telling about people fortune, predicting about our fortune using stars while other taking the help of our palms lines. While some that the advantages of religion view. But I think there is no reality in such prediction about our luck in advance because most of the time their prediction proves as wrong.

Personally the person who places the bet knows, whether he's lucky enough to win or not. The luck will strike at some unexpected time. We need to do the right thing at the moment, someone missing it and later on trying hard to earn through luck doesn't gonna get benefited. I don't believe that we know it when we are lucky on a game. We may win and we say we are lucky ,but I think it's just a coincidence. Luck is unpredictable and you'll never know when it will come until you are done betting. It is true that 99% of time we cannot believe on fortune teller as that is not confirm success, because luck is not that anytime it will come, but the thing is believe in your inner feelings and listen to your heart 99% of time your heart will tell you correct decision and i have experienced it many time in gambling and real life also.

Winning streak and losing streak is the most important thing to tell us the luck is coming or not.

Some good points here.  This is what I am trying to understand because I don't quite think I get the real problem.  So, what's the problem if this thread is here: Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Gambling > Gambling discussion > or somewhere else on the forum that doesn't fit the category?  It's topic is "luck" and it's in the gambling discussion section. What is the real problem?  Gambling? Sig Campaigns?  Spam?  Luck? If gambling threads are spammed with gambling services under gambling discussions in the gambling section of the marketplace category then what is the "real" problem with that practice? If it wasn't here, then it would be off topic and it would be a problem, right?

EDIT: I agree that some questions are just nonsense....but I don't quite understand what the problem is if those questions are tucked back into a corner of the forum which helps reduce the spam in the other more relevant sections of the forum. Right?
