I was wondering which one was the best wallet to install capable to accept ETHER, since for a noob like me it seems almost impossible to install and even more use Ethereum's wallet, built for advanced user.

I had a look on the alpha wallet but I finally opted for https://www.myetherwallet.com/ after checking two other different options.

I will provide you feedback on the quality of this wallet, even though low amount will go through it.

very legit. github is where dev shows their open source application and codes for everyone to see.  very transparent.

yes thats what i know about github.
and if i understand you right, then this account is from Ethereum team.
i will try this wallet then with some coins. so i have levy coins on exchange in won't sell it now. and wait another year and see what is going to happen.

i tried the OS X wallet.

- wow. nice GUI.
- sync is super fast.

i send 0.9 ETH from polo and received it after two minutes.

and multisig wallets look really cool.

I tried Ethereum Mist Browser today.  I needed only an address, so all went fine and fast. But when i open it it looks for peers. I skipped that at first, but still curious, why not find them now altho it pass some time already.

check your firewall / malwarebytes settings. peers are quick, at least for me

i made two accounts and i created one wallet with gui wallet.

does anybody know what i need to backup?

i could not find a backup possibility in the menu.
