Miami is nice but too cliche, I would have a rad party in some remote island. I like Bora Bora for it's amazing resort. If Bitcoin ever goes to 1 mm, I hope I can go there, but since you are aiming for 1 million per coin... let's just hope we aren't grandpas by then. 100K should be enough for me to get things done, which is doable in the next 10 years.

Wouldn't want to destroy dreams, but it's much more likely that many of people here won't even own a single coin even if it reaches 10k usd.
Same thing happened when it was just a few bucks, people were dreaming of 100 usd bitcoins and them becoming millionaires, but as soon as they got
20-30% profit, they cashed in..

Yes it will be hard to hang on to the coins during the climb - such a tough call when to sell.  The party should be somewhere posh and high tech like Monaco.  The security detail would be high.  See you all there!

You can always have the party on some island in/around Indonesia, or whatever country has the Bitcoin capital of the world. Just have one large party and cause some ruckus for a while.

It all depends on when Bitcoin hits $1m/coin, however. I don't think we'll see such a large value in our lifetime.

Vegas is not a good idea- the chances of getting robbed is much lower than losing all your coins in the Casino!

I am voting for the moon.  Like most things in my life, this is just a pipe dream.  Think about it, if BTC ever hit $1,000,000, all the Bitcoin in the world would be worth $21,000,000,000,000, making one Satoshi worth a penny.  This would never happen unless the USD tanked to be worth about $100 per current value penny.

I guess it will all depends on which city accepts bitcoins! And it has to be somewhere safe since we are all RICH!

Don't forgot about the people who will only have one bitcoin. They might have to sell that bitcoin and have all cash on them. Call me crazy but yes, I really do believe a bitcoin, a single bitcoin will be worth a million. But I don't know when.

Since when do you always have to sell a full bitcoin? You can still sell fractions of it without problems.

Regarding safety, ofcourse people won't carry all their coins with them, but tell me it is not attractive to try and rob a party like that. There might be people holding hundreds of millions at that price point, and to get ransom they only need to get the private keys of you, no need for family and police.

I prefer vote for Singapore , Stockholm Sweden and Amsterdam Holland. There are the right place to make a bitcoin party. Amsterdam and Sweden are bitcoin friendly country so why not there? And Singapore are my birthplace  ;D

Vegas sounds good. Dubai too. But I don't know if I would live in so much of a different way than I'm doing now, if bitcoin became that pricey. I've never had a thing for fast cars nor jet-set stuff. Still, I'd probably buy a big house with a swimming pool somewhere in the mountains in Switzerland, but I wouldn't go for these noisy parties in big cities too often.
Despite the fact that they sound similar, these are very different cities, mate :D
(Plus if they sound so similar it's only by chance: Kyoto is 京都, and Tokyo is 東京, only the "kyo", which means "city", is really in common between them).
There's not much to do in Kyoto, apart from visiting temples and shrines. Kyoto is an very historical city, which goes back centuries in the past and whose culture is extremely well preserved. It's almost a town. You can bike from one end to the other in no time. That's actually how most tourists travel in Kyoto: by bike. It's a really different and interesting experience (Kyoto, and even more so Nara, are some of the most beautiful places I've ever been to), but you wouldn't want to have a big party there.
Tokyo, on the other hand is a modern capital city, much like any other big city that you could find in any developed country. Of course it's still in Japan, with Japanese stuff there. But it's far from being the same experience that you'd have in Kyoto. Tokyo is much more appropriate for a millionaire's party.
It's a bit like comparing Ljubljana or Venice to London. Whole different stuff.

Anyway. Keep this thought away from me. Holding hopes higher than is rational is not for me. 1 BTC = 1 m USD is a sweet dream that has higher chances to not happen then it has to happen, even if bitcoin is destined to succeed.

I don't think this will ever happen but it's nice to dream and think about :)

I would say Vegas would be a good place. I would be very tempted to gamble but I think it would be okay to gamble some money if I'm a millionaire.

Not partying waste of money :P hahah I will just do vacation with my family no time to party.
Maybe I will just retire in my country when I am old if that happen.
For now doing my job and bitcoin aside is just my max to earn money.

.. sorry but keep dreaming you will be 10-20-30 years older than you are now IF that happens.. where you will no longer be  in the 'club 18-30' age category and no longer wanting to do the same things you want to do now. you might even be lucky enough to have got laid and impregnated a female, meaning in a few decades you will have family that becomes your priority..

so here is the solution
stop wasting your time to earn just $18 a week and do something more productive to earn you $250 a week(minimum)... put $100 aside per week and in 8 weeks you will have $800, in 6 months you will have $2600.

so now in just 6 months time, while still in the prime of life you can afford an all-inclusive vacation anywhere you like.
just wake up from your dream and imagine the reality that if you stopped low balling your income to be a limited $18 a week, dreaming of one day having an all inclusive vacation.. you can actually do it by doing something that is possible in reality.

get more productive.. aim to get $250 a week like normal people.. and your 30 year goal of attending a party can happen within 6 months.
then if you have invested that $2600 as bitcoin right now. it would be worth over $5000.

go on.. inspire yourself.. stop penny churning and start earning.. and you can have a great realistic block-halving party this year!, instead of a dream of millionaire party when your too old and worn out to dance and flirt

i don't need 1M per coin, to have what i need, 10k per coin or even 5k per coins is more than enough for me, hopefully this target, is much more feasible in the short term...5 years

Woow. I love the way people are so open and crazy to the suggestions of the venue for the party. To me. I would like to recommend that we hold the party in Miami. I do love the site seeing and therefore it is the best to hang out and just be happy.

I think we will never make that party I think we won't reach that kinda amount of money.
Maybe we will just reach around the the 5000 dollars or more but 1 million is just to high.

Seems a joke but I am answering like be true. I'm convinced that there are people who believe really such amounts. For them is the below comment:

I think that you can have the party only in your mind or in your bed when will be in sleep. It is good to wonder but make bad to go out of reality. It is one thing to like or love something and totally another to be obsessed by it. That amount of us dollars 1 bitcoin cannot arrive even if "he" itself will pay all the amount of it in existence (those who are already in market and those which will be produced during the next 120 years). Anyhow anyone has the right to wait it price to change its bitcoin and to be millionaire. So wait.... Maybe one day will see that you will be able to touch the sky....

40's are the new 30's if you keep yourself in shape. Also there's a lot of young people here, im sure we even have underage guys with wit that see the importance of Bitcoin and try to get some money through any means possible. Im rather young myself and unemployment is rampant, even tho I have a job and buy Bitcoin monthly with it to stuck up faster (for me the sig campaigns are only a small bonus), I understand how some people would dedicate a lot of time to this, for me it's only a small extra, but for some it's an amazing bonus, specially in poor countries. An Hero guy in Indonesia so to speak, can make more than 18$ a week, and that's a lot of money on such places. That's how Bitcoin changes lives, at the end of the day only rich nerds care about the super technical stuff, what changes lives is increased purchasing power.
