There have been many instances of collectors keeping the funds, and of bogus collectors defrauding the charities. Bitcoin with its open transaction reporting, is an ideal medium for collecting small donations. The charity, its auditors and the contributing public can check on all donations, and ensure that the money reaches the chosen charity. I'm thinking of using Bitcoin to collect money for my favourite local charity. Have any members used Bitcoin for this purpose?

Title: Re: Bitcoin for charity fund raising Post by: WENGER on January 13, 2016, 08:20:14 AM Yes there was and still is as a matter of fact a social network dedicated for Bitcoin users (forgot the name since it was really hard to earn Bitcoin by login in daily so haven't visited it for some months but it is a legit site) that they could donate the earned money to some charity of their choice. It really had a good name, will post an update here if I remember it.
