The Spirit of Plum Blossom and Peony symbolizes tenacity and tolerance. It is first synthesised by Dr. Yao Yudong in 2010.  The Spirit of Plum Bloosom and Peony is not only the DNA of Chinese culture, but also consistent with the spirit of the times in the world. The Spirit of Plum Blossom and Peony are universal values common to all cultures and races. Together with the rapid adoption of and adaptation to technology, this common set of values would be the binding forces underpinning the sharing finance and economy. Keep the Spirit in mind and embed the shared value in actions . Together, we create a better human civilization.

In the years we are deeply involved in Bitcoin and Litecoin communities, we have found that the production curve (similar to logarithm) does not fit with general course of economics and currency. The most significant shortfall is that early users hold large quantity of Bitcoin. Since the overall amount of Bitcoin is limited, holding demand is much larger than using demand, therefore it is very difficult for bitcoin to make its use as a currency in processing and payment making. Similarly, most altcoins use the logarithm curve, therefore it is also very hard for them to play more important role in payment and applications.

Inspiring by the "Northam Curve", discovered by US scholar Ray.M.Northam in 1975, which illustrate his theory of urban development course, we have found that the S curve, similar to increasing sine wave, fits better in crypto-currency development.

After analyzing the urbanization of Europe and United States, Ray.M.Northam concludes that the course of urbanization will go through three phases: The first is the beginning phase, in which the level of urbanization is low, development is slow, agriculture is the driving force of economy; the second is the speeding phase, in which population concentrate rapidly in cities, the speed of urbanization is fast, many problems, such as lack of labor force, traffic jam, lack of housing, deterioration of environment, grow with the concentration of population and industries in cities. When car is widely used, many people and companies move to suburban area, which causes suburban area to urbanize; the third phase is the mature phase, in which the level of urbanization is high, the population growth rate is going south, even to zero.

After thoroughly analyzing which way crypto-currency should adopt to develop, we believe that it is critical to take market maturity rate and access of coins to consideration in production rate designing. Consulting "Northam Curve", PeonyCredit uses a "S" curve to be its production curve. First phase is the beginning, the participation of miner is little, application is at early stage, few people are using it, the production is small; the second phase is the speeding phase, with the development of applications, the ecosystem of PeonyCredit has been established and developed, the demand is increasing, so the production is getting higher to meet the demand of market, in the same time, making all participants to be able to get PeonyCredit at relatively low cost. This design is different from other crypto-currencies, of which participants have to buy coins from early players at high price; the third phase is decreasing phase, in which the production is lower, the system does not encourage users to mine by rewarding. In this phase, the market and ecosystem of PeonyCredit is more mature, business modes have been built on multiple business applications, users are encouraged to participate in ecosystem building and application developing.

Testing.....

I'm getting this error with auxpow:

Code:
NarrowError: -32601 getauxblock method is not available until switch-over block.

@dev:  At what block does auxpow switch-over start?

What payout system do the listed pools use?

More info please........

Well, seeing as dev has logged on & off since a few community members have posted questions without reply, it looks like "creating a better human civilization" does not include answering questions about his/her own coin or pool......oh well. I can only presume he/she either doesn't know or isn't telling for whatever reason.

I noticed that both the coin home page & the pool are on the same server in France, while the dev is using privacy guard for the site & a noob account here - which always raises a red flag.  Payments from the SHA pool listed are somewhat erratic - ranging from 2 PNC to over 100 PNC even though the hash I was pointing at it was constant - which is concerning, & as there is no way of knowing why or how much dev is taking from the payments I have removed my hash from the pool until dev provides some clarity & answers to the questions posted.

Be careful.

No. I rented some hash about 5 hours ago. ZERO coins in my wallet as of yet.

@Dev ...  your selected Settings for the Difficulty Adjust/retarget  +/- XXX% over XYZ Blocks is a bit harsh
or better ...  complete Bullshit ^^

the difficulty jumps from 0.5 - 18 on scrypt between a few blocks
and Sha difficulty hit  10000 - 1000000 between some blocks .....

""" Maybe """ you try to avoid, that ppl. with Big Hashrate jump in and leave the Train
on a high difficulty which sucks for the remaining ppl.

but next time spend some time on this and select as an example :

" dif.retarget over 2 blocks, with 50% max increase/decrease "

maybe next time ...

i was asked via PM how to connect with rented rigs to your personal wallet on your Windows System ...
//running a stratum pool under Windows ...
here is my answer... maybe someone else find it helpful ...

since the coiniumserv Project was not longer developed from the main dev,
and the pre-compiled Binarys got deleted inside the github rep.

i have uploaded Coinumserv ...  allright compiled and ready to use...
https://mega.nz/#!T9kmXQbQ!W2_Al64cHLET4ikGWSUrnKW-wjAH21M2zzhTwsJ-v0U (https://mega.nz/#!T9kmXQbQ!W2_Al64cHLET4ikGWSUrnKW-wjAH21M2zzhTwsJ-v0U)

...

1. configure wallet ...  C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Peonycredit\config.conf

Code:
Server=1
rpcpassword=pass
rpcuser=user
rpcport=12345
rpcallowip=*

2.) Create/modifiy ...     CoiniumServ\bin\Release\config\coins\PNC.json

Code:
{
    "name": "PNC",
    "symbol": "PNC",
    "algorithm": "sha256",
    "site": "https://bitcoin.org/",
    "blockExplorer": {
        "block": "https://blockchain.info/block-index/",
        "tx": "https://blockchain.info/tx/",
        "address": "https://blockchain.info/address/"
    }
}

3.) modify ....      CoiniumServ\bin\Release\config\pools\pool.json
Green colored parts Need to be modified by your selected Settings...
everything else can be ignored.

{
    "enabled": true,
    "coin": "PNC.json",
    "daemon": {
        "port": 12345,
        "username": "user",
        "password": "pass"
    },
    "wallet": {
        "address": "PMU9fkLFsr3bM7z73PBaPJgEjBUnrxheBN"
    },
    "rewards": [
        {

            "mysql": {
                "database": "mysql"
            }
        }
    }
}

4.) start the Wallet and wait until full synced
5.) run... CoiniumServ\bin\Release\CoiniumServ.exe with AdminRights
5.) Rent a Rig from MRR and use stratum+tcp://YOURIP:54321 and YOURWALLETADDRESS:x to connect
5.) for mining with your gpu/asic/whatever on your home PC use stratum+tcp://127.0.0.1:54321 YOURWALLETADDRESS:x

Finished

for mining the Scrypt Algo ...

Close the Wallet => open config.conf => add  #sf=scrypt  => save config.conf => open PNC.json => replace  "sha256" into "scrypt" => save PNC.json => restart the wallet => restart coiniumserv => connect with your rig => bla bla bla bla

EDIT

if you want to run 2 wallets ... each with Sha256d and Scrypt ...

1.) open the cmd prompt inside the wallet Folder ...  and type

Code:
peonycredit-qt.exe -datadir=C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\peon1 -listen

2.) go to AppData\Roaming\peon1 and configure config.conf like above but select some other "rpcport=xxxxxx" and add "#sf=scrypt "

3.) create a copy from the whole coiniumserv Folder and modify PNC.json like above descript ...

4.) start the Wallet .. on CMD prompt with " peonycredit-qt.exe -datadir=C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\peon1 -listen "

5.) generate and copy a new address to the clipboard

6.) open pool.json and paste the NEW Address then  replace the port into your selected rpcport from the config.conf and select some other stratum port

7.) start coiniumserv with AdminRights

8.) connect your scrypt rig like before on the same address, and the changed stratum port ...  and use the new Wallet Address as username ...

9.) bla bla bla bla bla ....

10.) happy mining.

was this guide helpful ? dont be a fucking wanker and donate  PNC to this Address PK8y6cCS5jgXPgiCREz57RBNedkFU6UNN3

Thank you

I stopped mining this one a few days ago. To bad. It seems the dev logued in today and yet still no communication...

@pdbit You have a fairly decent coin and it could hit the markets but you still need to promote. Are you with us ?

Post by: igabriel on January 27, 2016, 02:56:02 PM

New wallet version 1006 build 26.jan.2016 is another blockchain, nothing to do with the original coin !
It is not a new wallet but another coin !
Peonycredit launched on 15.jan.2016, wallet version 1003, have 51786 blocks at this moment, not 3060 !  51k blocks mined, not 3k !
Tomorrow will see another version/blockchain, and so on ?
What the hack is going on ?

Looks like invisible dev has removed merge mining capability & forked the coin in the process - meaning everyones previously mined coins are worthless. I can't even dump my old coins on yobit because the wallet is in "maintainance"  ::)

What a mess.

Moral of the story: Never trust a new coin from a noob account.

If dev want to keep the new one too, he should give it a new name and ticker, and of course make another thread for the new coin.
Regarding the original coin, he should put back the wallet (1003), asap, to restore normality.
