My personal opinion is that we will go back to the 300-400 range.
However, I don't think we will go under 300$.
How about you guys :)

I have also never thought crash will come like this as price seemed to be stable at 420 mark before, recent dump is so massive and i am quite worried about it touching 350 by tomorrow, but i am stilll holding. Price shouldn't go below 400, it is quite crazy to see this market dump.

as you can see on all exchanges that the price didn't dive under $400 so far. that's a good thing. i only find the support at $400 to be very weak right now. it was looking strong not long ago. if it happens to go sub $400 then i might actually buy myself 1 or 2 bitcoins. for now i'll keep watching the price closely.

This will happen for sure but its also that we have to wait till we know it for sure because its pretty unpredictable these days.
The price will increase for sure but it will take some time before it will.

It's definitely possible that we see the price go below $400 again. We have seen the price drop more than $20 at once for quite some times now. I only hope it will not happen as we might stay below $400 for a while if it doesn't go back up fast.

now market is on ping pong trend so i think is possible price drop to below $400 if you get more profit waiting after ping pong trend ended.

I do not worry about the short term price fluctuation. I think as long as the price rises in long term, I will hold it.

That's the right attitude. If you look at short term charts then it may look like a nightmare. But if you look at the 1 year chart, then you will see that the price has been rising steadily. And that's what we consider to be the most impostant thing. Atleast for me it is.

It will be of course more than 400. But we need to wait and that is the best option. Dont spend it now around this time. That will be not good.
Just wait and see for what is going to happen. But you can see now that the price is rising already.

we allready did, it's time for bitcoin to rise to 500$ now, would be nice if that would happen before halving, because after it price will rise even more, so we won't stay at 400$ for long

We could be breaking the $500 anytime now, I think a month before the halving happens we will be facing a rally and I hope it will be stable.
It will really bring a lot more people intereted in bitcoin if after the halviny it will be more stable at around $400 - $500 or more.

It is right that we have break $400 and now steadily moving towards $500 but i think most of bitcoin users are expecting the price rise after halving as last time it happened but will it really happen ya it will crash because when every one is holding for price rise. and when the price is rised then their will be crash as everyone will be wanting to sell their coins to take profit then who will be the buyer ?

We can of course break the 400. We must all hope for that it will rise for a long time in the future.
But you never know what can happen later in the future. It can be also going down and that wont be good. But you can now see that the price is rising.

I think the price will be around $450 in the next few weeks or months, then it will rise because of the halving.

The price will stay around $430 for some time. If the block size problem is resolved, the price will go to $500 or higher.

We will break it of course and that will be very good. But we all hope that it will rise for a long time and that will be so nice.
It will be nice especially for the people who already made an invest, so they can have some a lot of profit later in the future.

We will see $350 before seeing anything up. Why would whales wanna move price up right now with so much problem in the ecosystem  :D

It happens often with the Bitcoin price. The price has fallen below $400 before few days and now it has once again crossed the $400. Coming days it might go down to $350 and increase suddenly on halving.

Yes of course we are going to break it. But you dont know when it will happen. It can take a long time and that is not good.
But it can also happens fast. You never know. And it is hard to predict for what is going to happen in the future.

It is possible for the coin to go below $350 for a few days, but it will not go below $300, even if it does drop below, it will be just a few hours.

$350 is a solid support and it will require some time and coins to break it. I am not saying it is impossible, but for now I don't see a reason to go that low. To go any higher either.

I strongly believe that we will break the 400$ limit again as many people are now getting to know bitcoin more and more and the demands for bitcoin will surely rise thats when we will break the 400 or even make it to 500 or 600.
Its all a matter of time until we make that margin.

Yes, we break the $400 and really we are down to $350 - $400 range that time so OP is right about his speculation.. But I think he was wrong about the thing that we will cross below $200...Coz we didn't even go below $350 that time...It just means that the support at around $350 is strong enough to push the price back up.

The price will be higher than $400 for the near future. Then it will go up to $500 to $550 before the halving.

Definitely yes. As I check the progress of the market right now, it's trying to break the $430 today
I also predict bitcoin to reach $500 at the end of the year, so just hold your coins until the big rush buying season begins

Anyone whos still questioning this, its been over 1 week or close to two weeks now.

And the prices been solid for close mid range for $420, so seeing that alone should be enough that it`ll easily got to $480.

If we look at the OP's first post, yes the prediction was happened but not that much for a long duration since the price actually got back from those major bad news months that dip the price to below $400.

This question was made on January when the price wasn't good, but nowadays the price is more than $400, currently at $422. It wouldn't be bad if we see $450 by the end of this month.

The price could have already rosé to $450, but its staying around $420 for a long time which is expected to touch $450 as mentioned because now small growth is experienced over the past few days.

The bitcoin price will stay around the $420 level for the next couple of weeks. Then it could go up again.

In a few weeks time if there is no increase towards $450, then patience is needed as it might be price to be experienced at the time of halving.

Maybe we can reach $250 by the end of the month or maybe 2 months, since the market is a bit slow

what you're talking about 250? we are super stable , rock solid, at 420 already, many weeks since this value, there is no way we are going back to 250 we must be confused or dreaming for cheap coins

At this time, I think no, though there's a chance to drop,  I still think the price would go up now and maybe start to drop after the halving but might not go so low...Besides, there must be a big reason why the price should drop...

I guess we are already above $400, we should talk about $500 and not the current question I guess...
It is the floor currently decided by all the users which is why it is playing between $400 - $450, so even if it goes below $400, don't worry as it will recover soon being the floor price...

Why guess. That's a fact. We already hit the $400 even prior of the creation of this thread. It's just that OP was confused that day.

And $400 is really breachable at the moment.

Much better if we target the minimum $500 range.

$500 target is for the time just before halving. It is about 25% above current price. So it is achievable.

I think that $500 might be too high before the halving, something like a good $475 might be enough to get more people to buy one the halving occurs.

You never know, $500 might be the sweet spot, but $475 seems like a better number to encourage more people to buy initially.

If we can experience a price rise by 2 or 3months, then we can expect more than $600 as halving is expected within 2-3months. If there is no big rise on halving we can see price around $600.

We are really going to that price slowly within a few more months and the halving is the main reason why we are heading to a great price for bitcoin.

I think the $600 price could happen just before the halving or during the halving. Then the price will rise further after halving.

The current trend did not continue. The price of bticoin dropped below $440. For the believers, it is buy time.

We are going to break that value soon and that is perfect for the people that is already waiting for a price increase because now we can maybe earn some profit soon.
But the bad thing of Bitcoin is that nobody will know when it is going to stop rising or start.

I think the bitcoin will keep on rising in the long term. The price next year will be higher than $500.

I think to reach $500 we don't need to wait until next year just need a little bit time to that target.

We just need to wait two months for the price to be above the $500 mark. Maybe we can wait less time.

Mostly I see people with way too high predictions for this year, but this time it's the opposite. :D We'll definitely get to demolish the $500 barrier this year and if nothing bad happens we might even be able to hold the price above that level.

May be $500 will be achieved by the end of this month, as price is again stuck below $450 now but I think it will start moving up from next week.

It is very possible for the price to be $500 this months. But even if we achieve that in June, I am very happy.

Next year ? That very pesimistic given the fact that the halving is just a few months away. I would be surprised if we dont break it this very month in fact.
Looking at some data from the exchanges, it obvious that something is  cooking up, the volume is getting fat and price is trying to bump up.

In short, to me it looks like as it is ready to blow upwards any day now. We all know that there will be hype this year, i just hope it will last longer than previous one.

$300 is the history now. The price of bitcoin is trading around $460 at the moment. If it is here for long, that is good.

Man I hope you're right.But to be honest you should also expected the unexpected as Bitcoin has shown this in the past several times before.

Of course we have broken this barrier a while ago and the price is currently moving to break the $500 barrier this can happen with in this month if the halving does not come in and switches up things.
We will just have to wait it out and see what the Bitcoin is going to do.

It's actually a great thing when the price finds somewhat of a stable point at a certain level. I think for this month we'll see the price sit in the range of $450 where it can go up or down like $10-20 at most. I think the real action will start in the month Juli.

The price rise could happen earlier. I think the price of bitcoin will reach $500 in June. Then it will rise further.

As you can see now you see also that there are now more people that is going to have some profit and that is perfect for them because they already waited a long time for it.
It will at least reach the $500 in the end of the year and that would be nice.

That is very conservative prediction. I reckon the price will reach $500 in June or July. $800 in December.

My opinion is same as yours, 550 $ in next few months amd in the end of the year around 700 $. I believe this is very realistic prediction and facts around us tell us that its very possible this to happen. I like to think about is it possible we to see some big spike in months after halving? Lets say over 1000 $ or maybe even more..

Surprises are usual thing in bitcoin world so what if we some big surprises? Is anyone thought about that? I think I`m ready for this ride, it looks like it will very  interesting. Its still good time for buying and storing coins, many people will earn good I believe. Good luck to all.

If the block size is doubled as promised by the Core Team to be 2MB and the SeWit, the price will be even higher.

These two factors are very important. It will affect the user experience and the mass adoption.

The SegWit was supposed to be released in April according to the Core road map, so it could be released soon.

off course there will always be one point in this year we will break the 400. That is not only because of the many users but i think he will not go lower then 400 again and thats because of the amount of bitcoins that has mined.

$400 might be the new floor IMO, although it is unlikely it's going to crash any time soon.

$400 is the old floor. We will know in a few weeks if the $500 is the new floor. I think it will be the bottom of current trading range.

This is possible. The bitcoin market cap is much larger than a few years ago, it is more difficult to manipulate it. So the price will be more stable.

I think the US dollar is also manipulated by many big trades. So it is possible to manipulate bitcoin when when it is big.
