Litecoin – Retest of Lows?

Yesterday, I highlighted that there is a possibility that sellers may appear another time and take the price lower. The price did move down Intraday, and currently looks set for more losses in the near term. Our sell near the 100 hourly simple moving average played well and it’s time to book profits. The highlighted resistance near the 100 hourly simple moving average (data feed from Bitfinex) made a difference. There is also a major bearish trend line on the same chart connecting all recent swing highs.

Problem with Litecoin is really, that there are less and less miners.
It was highly profitable to mine LTC in 2013 just with a nice card at your computer.
This is now gone and this has also caused a break in the community.
I expect it's just a matter of time when Ethereum overtake Litecoin.

Litecoin Price Technical Analysis – Continues to Probe 100 Hourly Average

There were a few positive signs for Litecoin price this past week, as it managed to move higher after trading as low as $3.01. The price has now formed an ascending channel pattern formed on the hourly chart (data feed via Bitfinex), which is acting as a mover for the price. However, the price is struggling to break the channel resistance trend line, as is it acting as a tough barrier for buyers. There is another barrier on the upside for the price, as the 100 hourly simple moving average is aligned below the channel upper trend line.
