I know ppUSD is frowned upon but I'm trying to get this in a hurry as a Christmas gift for a friend. I tried LocalBitcoins but the guy won't have any Bitcoins until early January, and hitting up people in the order book on #bitcoin-otc has proved unsuccessful. I'm willing to do smaller trades (perhaps three, one of 1.35 BTC, and two for 1 BTC) if a few different people are willing to step up for this. That would come to $14.92 per Bitcoin.
