Woo, what the hell, were they actually that big? People still participate in that kind of crap? I still find it pretty weird that the usa would actually do something about some ponzi using bitcoins

The ponzi likely collapsed and he needed a way to get out, it certainly wasn't taken by the US govenment though (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1330510.msg13578014#msg13578014). He left all his details on the whois, which might not have been the smartest idea (if they are his real details).

explicitly, it is a form of lie to cover about the ponzi collapse, i don't see the picture is evidently legit.  :(
if that picture was legit, then some of the news site concerning bitcoin would gotta publish that post.

Almost certainly he's just plain scamming and trying to hide it with a fake domain seizure. I find it extremely suspicious the "seizure" page is https with a certificate granted on 10/05/2015. Can someone check whether it's the same certificate used when the site was online?

Update: Read more information here:

in fact, it is a collapsed sign, because the logo of that US government is not legit as i can see. they uses that method to cover them and get their coin cleaned easier to prevent revert. luckily i took a look at their picture, not even the serial filing code can be found.

In that case there's no doubt at all the U.S. government isn't involved at all (hopefully not yet). It's just plain scam as said by you and lottery248.
Victims should start legal actions immediately.

Nah it was probably seized.  They put up this seizure notice when they bust dark market sites if I'm not mistaken.   I suppose there's a chance it's fake but I suspect it isn't.

You're wrong. They ended-up becoming a one month doubler. Site was a scam from the start. There were never proofs of trading, mining or what not. As pointed out, the promotional mine was the last attempt to rip of as much as possible and since the time for the repayment is closing in, they have to shut down.

Dude it never was . Whenever a new investor-based games startup ask about their source of fund and how do they work? whatever they reply think over it whether it is fixed or not and how long will it continue?

Some people always use a mainstream reason like being hacked if they want to run away but this reason is the same because he wants to run with everyone's money. It is still much better than directly saying that they run away with everyone's money like what hashie.co did to their customer with the frozen song

That logo is fake. They first seize the hosting, and then redirect to their image. And it seems so suspicious that the logo isn't this one, true?

There are several different images when they take a site, depending on who does the seizing and for why. Ore-mine.org has the same image as libertyreserve.com, which was seized.

OMG you people are really annoying me.  IT WAS OBVIOUSLY A SCAM.  They announced New Years Mines that double your money at the start of the new year and just as they were about to pay out the site goes down.  The website was hosted in Russia it has nothing to do with the State of New York what so ever.  If it was seized it would be the federal agencies not a New York State "Warrent".  That division that the image on ore-mine speaks of does not even exist !!!!  IT IS A SCAM THE ADMIN LEFT WITH WHATEVER COINS WERE LEFT after the site was running for over a year.  People made money on this, but some late investors and investors in the doubler aspect lost.  It was obvious it was a scam anyone who actually believes the falsified image needs to be seriously evaluated.

The website was hosted in Russia it has nothing to do with the State of New York what so ever.
The main question is why the state of New York would seize ore-mine??  Are they doing illegal activities?...
Ecuamobi post explains all... Ore-mine admins & promoters should be ashamed and jailed!

Ore-mine admin explain something that their servers were arrested because of bot and large turnover on Cryptsy - they are US based.

Well they were doing illegal activities, ponzi schemes are considered illegal in most countries and specially USA, now I'm not sure if the domain or the guy behind the site lives in USA, otherwise why would the government be involved?

Don't expect that you will see anything back from ore-mine. See this as a lesson and never use such websites again. Lost also here some money but shit happens.
