Post by: soopy452000 on January 17, 2016, 05:53:14 AM Bitcoin was made to exclude the need for a central authority or any of that sort not to be centered about a single entity or a person or the opinion of the same , its too big to mass manipulated at this point , thus its going on its own and will live on , this is its sole purpose since its creation , Satoshi saw this thus kept away as he knew Bitcoin will live on without him and he just gave it life and a jump start , he saw that it was never about a person but a system that doesn't involve one to evolve and live on , it was a system about policies and not about individuals , thus Bitcoin itself is committing to that purpose and keeping to it. It will live on , despite how many or how far disputes within the community reach , Bitcoin is unstoppable , so is the bitcoin technology. Humans are still looking for short term gains but there's a huge picture they're missing.

Some people just try to make Bitcoin look bad because they are working on other stuff that they like to see shine. All is done in their own benefit, and not in the benefit of the community. Post by: WENGER on January 17, 2016, 09:26:00 AM That's the case always with something great as just how much followers and users it gets, there will always be few out there that would try to destroy it just for the benefit of themselves and there have been numerous waves against Bitcoin system and until now it's standing strong enough to ensure all of them that it won't break easily and surely it remains for years to come.

Post by: randy8777 on January 17, 2016, 12:49:50 PM no matter price back to around $200 again, i think if price drop to $200 many investor will leave and bitcoin will die. many investors will leave when the price is reaching $200? i think it's the other way around. plenty of investors will see it as a great moment to step in and make a lot profits. bitcoin will not even die when the price is $1. there will always be miners that will keep mining. as long as it has value, it has a purpose. bitcoin will only die when all miners shut down their hardware and people close all their full nodes. that's when bitcoin dies. All we will have are two alt coins. Tons of coins will be dumped on both sides depending on which they think will win, and the price of both will crash like it never has before.
