If you were to create a website just like cryptsy to exchange alt-coins in between them. No usd or Euro or any regular currency , just altcoins . How much would it cost to create one? You can use open source code. But I can't calculate how much you need to charge all of them, the important thing is your security feature. To get encryption of documents storing explicit data would cost around 1-2BTC Any APIs that are needed, may charge much more (5BTC-10BTC) I think these should be useful, I am probably not a good coder to use though. Where the hell do you get your SSL? I am paying 99$ a year? Do you mean something else by SSL? It is the SSL you buy while buying the domain and hosting right? Such as: protecting against DoS attacks. (I am not sur ethat my figures are corect though. @Sigals, is that SSl trustworthy? Probably, a lot of free programs tend to be viruses or virus suseptable. Have you viewed the source code and understood it? Thanks for the idea of your personal use of free software! Also, is it open source, and held under GNU? Are you guys writing these comments for post count ? He never even mentioned security and you all are rambling on how he needs to worry about that. Pointless conversation about SSL or whatever. For the op: you can get an exchange done anywhere from 1000 usd to 10000 Usd depends on what you need and who you use. You can get scammed on this site so be careful who you go to. I think a good dev should be charging about 3000 usd with security and server setup. A company or team of devs should charge around 5000 usd. Goodluck |
