Music is one off the things that make difference between humans and animals. However, playing a music instrulent isn't permitted to anyone and require a lot of work. Since is something quite uncommon, do you play a music instrument ? I, unfortunatly, do not :(.

I know a little piano and guitar. haven't touched a string for more than a year though.
I do occasionally play the drum on my lap, but I don't think that counts.  ;D

I used to own a Yamaha EL 90 but sold it as my trainer or teacher who gives me lessons given up on me.
Planning to buy a new one again but not sure what brand is good nowadays.

I played some keyboard as a kid. But I would like to play piano in a decent way. Would be awesome.

I played the piano since I was a child, was forced to take lessons at a young age but actually grew to love it. Now my main passion is the guitar, I started playing at 11 and still try to get three hours in a day of playing and practice.

Tenor Sax! I didn't get to be so good playing with it. But yea, that is some sexy instrument.
Would love to learn how to play the keyboards especially after hearing Joe Hisaishi's Nostalgia compilation.

i play a bit of guitar and banjo. Havent played much in awhile but i know how!

 I used to know how to play piano and I could play the Titanic theme song and bigger songs! But I stopped two years ago, and now I don't even know how to play Au Clair De La Lune   >:(

I used to cruise the strip pantomime playing the air skin flute if that counts. Oh wait, I used to play slapping the buttocks, but I now have trouble reaching all the way to the backside.

I sadly don't. But my uncle can play every instrument he put hands on.(even he never knows) I am really jealous about it.

i know playing a electronic guitar. it is Fender. i like that. i love Rock  Music and rock'n roll. yeah :) :)

guitar is easy to learn if you just have to read and play the song itself. but then learning music itself is a different thing.
strumming a guitar with its chords for the accurate song can be done by anyone but then you have to be musically inclined to really learn well.

No, my parents pushed me to play piano, and i had classes when was a child but i never couldn't learn to play...Simply I like music but have no talent or sense to play it

I can play the contrabass clarinet, bass clarinet, bflat clarinet, piano, and harmonica and recorder. Parents forced me to do those, 4 years later im amazing at all of them :D

I used to play the piano back in my 7 year old days, stopped when I lost my piano. Still don't know how that happened. I took music classes & did guitar for a short period, but the teacher was pretty much worse than looking at Justin Bieber naked on Instagram. He just says some random stuff and thinks that we'll understand what he's saying, but really we just sat there and hit the wrong strings but did it fast so to him it looked like we were doing it. I got a B+ in music lmao

I was forced (ish) to play the flute when I was young, but I got pretty good and now I pick it up every so often and have a blast.

I'm a little drunk right now, but it would be really cool to do some sort of Bitcointalk music collaboration... Like we pick a famous piece of music and someone records one part, then send the recording on to the next guy who records the next as a separate part etc. Then someone mixes them all together to make the ultimate decentralized orchestra!!

That sounds like the best idea ever.. but I don't know any other people that would be willing to do this. Otherwise I would love to participate in that if it ever happened :D

I can play guitar a little bit

Well I'm gonna get myself a condenser mic in the next few weeks to record stuff and mess around with. I've got some experience with mixing/producing stuff so it's definitely possible for me to do the final mixdown. I'll count you in, if we pick a piece that has the score available online it would be easy for everyone involved to get access to it.

Even if people just used basic micrphones and the final result is abit crusty, it would still be a great project to get involved with. People would be welcome to improvise too obviously, like if a guitar player can't read classical music notation they could still jam a few chords/solos along with it. I'll give it some thought, will PM you if I make a thread about it. Music is indeed awesome!

Don't know how to play any musical instrument, I'm just a good music listener.

I play guitar and I must say it's one o the thigs that I am good at. I also use to play a recorder when I was young but I never really got interes in wind instruments. I also know some basic piano play and a box instrument sounds good when paired with my guitar. :D

Yeh, I know how to play violin well. Basically play violin is one of my favorite hobby. I like this one a lot.

I would like to listen as well. But can play violin good so far.

I know how to play music through mobile phones but have no knowledge about music instruments.
I can sound like woofer through my vocal chords and can sound like a crow .

I love to listen instrumental music but playing it makes me really difficult to get the right tone of music.

I numbered it because I originally wanted to create one thread per day. However, it seemed that there were not as qualitative has they should have been after the "Big Cleanup", so I stopped this practice.
