Out of any handgun to buy used a 1911 makes me the most nervous. I am sure you are well aware they have a lot of shit that can go wrong parts wise compared to a Glock or polymer gun. These weapons are from a close friends person stash. He lives out of state and I haven't seen them personally. I'm sure it has been stripped down a number of times and I'm 100% sure it has been fired with no issues. It will be inspected by his FFL prior to shipping to make sure it doesn't need any work (not cosmetics obviously... old guns used military weapons have scratches) We stand behind the guns we sell and if there is any problems you are welcome to return it. I guess that is a plus depending on who is trying to buy them. I personally see BTC as carrying a premium, as I cannot get BTC without fees and/or limits/restrictions. The 1911 can be had for $500-$700 new fairly easy, and the AR can be built/bought for ~$500-$600 new. Your friend just has to take that into consideration..
