Title: Sent a pull request to SelfStarter to support Mt. Gox as a payment option
Post by: ripper234 on December 26, 2012, 01:47:55 AM
SelfStarter (http://selfstarter.us/) is a cool open source clone to KickStarter. For now, it only accepts Amazon Payments (which do not support non-US customers!).

I want to use it to kickstart a small hackathon project we're doing at my workplace (it's a very cool project btw, will post if we end up launching the selfstarter).

In case anyone is interested, here is the pull request (https://github.com/lockitron/selfstarter/pull/22). I don't know if the Lockitron guys (developers of SelfStarters) know anything about Bitcoin, but I hope they don't reject the request on the spot.

BTW, why Mt. Gox you ask?

I tried to open a BitPay account, and it seems you can't just open a BitPay account ... you have to request it.

Mt. Gox just worked.
