Title: User keeps deleting & bumping thread
Post by: Robertt on January 19, 2016, 10:23:06 AM
Thread in question: HYPERGEN
This isn't a scam accusation, but I thought that this wasn't allowed.

The user deletes his previous bump every 10 minutes or so just to create a new "To purchase create a support ticket".  Just a heads up to report in case this isn't allowed

yes, it isn't allowed. good job spotting that.
I wonder, can users use the report button for this kind of stuff? I'm not sure if normal mods can see the deleted bumps.

I think this is a meta thing.

Well you are supposed to delete your previous bumps but only if you are bumping every 24 hours, if you are bumping every 5-6 hours like he is doing then no, it's not allowed and it's enough with you reporting one of his posts and explaining in detail why are you reporting it.

Yes you can report them. Have done many in the past. A little too old now to notice changes  ;)

If you appropriately describe it, then yes but I'd say take it to the PM(to a mod). I do so myself. Mods cannot see deleted posts, only admins can . The lower the member rank the less tolerant the mods are about this activity.

True

@Robert, make an archive of the thread right now, and another one , the next time he bumps it. That should be proof enough for the mods. I remember reporting one myself, he was temp-banned (and then tried evading unsuccessfuly).
