Yes, I only gave him .035 BTC for it...

And now he tells me...

Quote
!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!

sent.. confirm please..
Confirmed just sell the account I have to default
I'm being honest about it I lost the btc I sent it to the wrong address for my digital good

So I guess it's getting sold again...

I should be able to recover the .035 I have into it no? Or did I just make a big mistake?

Fork me...

The account is worth 0.08

It's only worth what someone is willing to give, no more.
Did you get that much, since you were the seller/borrower?

I don't understand why you loosing the BTC is a reason to not repay the loan. Weren't you going to spend it anyway and pay me back by other means? Or was the plan all along just to sell me the account?

Derp, I would assume he just scammed you and disguised his account sale as the loan you fulfilled.  Forum accounts make for shitty collateral, let this be a lesson to you.

Stop accepting accounts as collateral because i have seen alot of forum accounts being associated with high profile scammers after getting sold.

I hope that he at least got a signed message for the account with the loan. At least if he did, he'd only be out a small bit of money. If not, he could be out of the account as well as the "loan" funds.

If it's negatively tagged, there's no chance the lender will get his coins back. If it's untagged, the account is worth more than 0.035... At least if there's a signed message (as being said before)

If the account is not, the same could be used for any destructive purpose like taking a loan again from some other user for higher amounts. Maybe open multiple loans with the newbie account an use same account as collateral. If it's neg, no lender will give him loans.

The account is already properly tagged neutral by a trusted member that know's what he is doing.
