I believe all contents in that book are just theory without practical
experience, and somebody just trying to sell dust..

You advertise it like this because everyone knows it is a scam and they wouldn't buy from you. Simple as that.

it is simple:
1. make a topic about how to hack bitcoin private key.
2. insert a download link either as the ebook link or introduce it inside the ebook with your malware in it.
3. steal their private key after they were infected!

Yeah this may happen in this way also. You never know what they have in that ebook. Also it may also look like only a book with only a coverpage and no content :P

i wonder how he'd do that as well. must be a bullshit.

It is not possible to hack a private key easiliy.. The number of keys is so big that you need to compute longer than humans have been on the earth.

The only possibility is malware or social engineering to give your information to a hacker, but they won't get acces through your private key, they would steal your wallet.dat file and your keys to ultimately get the private keys.

Clearly Scam. i think there's no thing like that. and if it's really a hack like that why he sell that hack though, why not using for himself. it's scam.

in that book probably he tell you to download something or to visit some shady website that will auto install something or send you an email with a malicious zip or whatever

I think the book will show you how to hack some vulnerable addresses but not any addresses. I am no expert in mathematics but that's what I heard.

But, in short, it is pointless if everyone is generating random addresses.

Scams come in different forms. While you are posting to pretend that you don't trust the nook, you are very sure that there are people who will be curious to try and buy the book.

I'm very sure of that.  ;D in fact i'm trying to convince anyone to buy it and give a review here and if they are generous enough to share it, i'd be willing to have it too and i may even pay half to whoever he is.  ;D but i like it free.

The author is a old guy who has no ways of earning , he wrote this book just to get some quick bucks , if stealing Private key is so easy then why don't he do it and donate some BTC to this forum.

People don't realize this and fall for stuff like this, I saw many people selling ebooks like that right here on the forum, where they sell methods of earning huge bitcoins and people buy them without even thinking that, if the seller knew such methods they wouldn't sell it in the first place.

Common sense is in short supply these days.

It's not possible to do that. You need billion years to crack the code with today's computers. So for current technology you are more than safe.

This forum would be dust if it was possible to directly hack a private key. I assume the book might offer some techniques on how to get into someone's computer or socially engineer it. I think $25 spent on a huge pie would be money better spent.

The Book doesn't seem like an actual sale.It hardly matters since it looks like a joke  made to either spread the affiliate links or to earn from his referral commission.Youtube has couple of tutorials as well but all are fake ,they will ask you to sign up using a referral link to do the hack.

we all know 'hacking' a private key takes thousands of thousands of years to get a collision of a key that has funds.. but if the author had the answer he could raid funds and keep it a secret making him a millionaire without other people competing and stealing his opportunities..

so logically it is just a marketing scheme and not really a hack script lesson

100% scam. This is not possible just from an ebook. You would need years to do it...

I don't get it....I'm still a little green on this subject.  Are we talking about hacking into somebody's hot wallet, hacking their systems for stored keys, hacking with a keylogger trojan....etc  OR, are we talking about solving an encrypted algorithm cryptographically ?  I do know that wallets get hacked....it happens!

If somebody can hack bitcoin private key than he would be able to be billionaire and he don't need to sell this method for some cents. ;D

Yeah, by the way stay away from digital point. It's been dead for years now, the only ones remaining are the ones trying to get their scam stuff sold. It's like finding a needle in the haystack for legitimate deals there.

A bitcoin address in can never be hacked (as in brute forced by guessing the privkey or by generating privkeys to guess which one fits a particular public address).  Yes privkeys can be stolen and used to gain access to a public key, keyloggers, screenshots, stolen wallet.dat files, etc etc...... so yes wallets do get opened and the bitcoin removed, but as the saying goes, "He who owns the privkey, owns the Bitcoin".

Didn't read the thread, but the book title seems to place it in the same category as the "How to make millions and retire early type". If the author has such a surefire way to make money why share it?

Lol. And what is sad is many wanna-be scammers will buy it and get scammed themselves.

i bet most of the technique was difficult to do safely or already widely known.

such as :
1. guessing brain wallet
2. exploiting exchange weakness
3. using trojan to steal wallet.dat and creacking the pass
etc...
