Title: How does the slush pool work?
Post by: grizzlynick on December 28, 2012, 03:57:05 PM
I know that most pools have certain payout periods like every 7 days but I went to https://mining.bitcoin.cz and I saw a (Send threshold: Coins will be sent once the reward crosses over the threshold) I think that's pretty unique. so as soon as you reach say 1.0 bitcoins they automatically send it to your Bitcoin address you typed in. why aren't all pools like this?

Uh, almost all (90%+) pools operate like this except Eligius, who pay out once your balance reaches 0.67++ and the queue is cleared (approx. 7 days. What pool operates with a payout period?
