Title: Scam Attacks On BTCJAM Account - This Is Just A Be Careful Warning For Users
Post by: Yoga4 on January 23, 2016, 03:13:20 AM
My email account and BTCJam account were hacked last week while I been away on a long vacation. During this time, a loan was created, published, and fully funded. THANKFULLY and LUCKILY the loan did not get activated. The ONLY reason why I was able to catch this is because my personal email received a notification that someone attempted to change wallet addresses on BTC Jam. I was then able to get back into my account and delete the loan before any serious damage was done. I received confirmation that my BTCJam account was indeed accessed while I was away, as well as my email. I just want to urge users to reset your passwords, enable two factor authorization, and just check your BTC jam account if you haven't in awhile. My BTC Jam account was sitting for awhile unused and this may have been one of the reasons it was a targeted account.

It doesn't has any connection to the forum and neither the users then why would you post it here ? it looks like a plain hacker and the same carelessness of people.

Thanks for your advice on that.

Well i think its time to take up some security measures and always run links in sandbox browsers. Recently I somewhere  read an article on cookie catcher thing which catches up the cookies and later the account of the user gets hacked.
