It's supposedly 30 minutes after purchase until it becomes active, but IIRC, I've had one person go back to a store at closer to 60 minutes (so they'd be talking with the same clerk and manager that were there when they bought it, and they call Green Dot to work out the issue immediately and re-fund at no extra cost).

I can pretty much do 1k MPs anytime, but I was more or less trying to do this as a one-time "favor" for the btc community. Considering vendors charge ~ $80 / 1k moneypak. lol.
