I think Tennis and Soccer are the two best sports to gamble.. I have made considerable profits with this.. What do you guys think ?

My favourate ones are football and basketball. Ppl always have their preference which is always different.

As you mention, soccer and tennis are 2 incredible good sports for gambling. This is also the 2 sports I personally gamble the most at. Why? Because of the literally thousands and thousands of games beeing played every single week of the year. These 2 sports are also some of the most popular in the world. I have also placed a few games in the game of squash, but compared to soccer and tennis, the amount of squash are very low. For every squash game beeing played, there is hundreds of soccer and tennis games beeing played as well.

anything can be good. i think this is just a matter of preference. if you enjoy that particular sport and have found a good place to place your bets any sport can be best sport to gamble. (from football, to dog race and chicken fights :))

I personally think basketball and tennis, they both have many games everyday. But the downside is that basketball esp. NBA is controlled by refs. I'm starting to think this NBA might be rigged. Soccer has always been controlled by the refs imo. Tennis I believed has the least ref controlled game bet. the two. Also, if you like alternative sport, you may opt to try e-games.

what kind of bets do you bet? i usually bet on 1X2 but lost, cause the result is usually unexpected, soccer is difficult to score, so i think soccer is more difficult than basketball or tennis to bet, btw, i like tennis betting, but some players suck, like andy murray, roger federer, they usually lost the matches to weaker players.

It is not case of which sport is objectively the best to bet on, because there is no such games. It is rather question which sport are you familiar with and know enough to bet on it.
If you like tennis and find soccer to be boring go for your favorite sport. That's all.

Football and basketball seem to be my favorite to bet. Mostly, because I enjoy the sports and have a good bit of knowledge about the teams playing. Some other sports can be fun but I only take football and basketball seriously.

It will depend on someone's interest on sports. Some knows a lot and like football so they prefer to bet on the said sport and will probably always bet on their favorite team. Personally, I am a basketball fan so obviously I'd love to bet with it and its the sport for me to gamble bcoz I am familiar with the teams especially on NBA and PBA, thus I can analyze each team on my bet to predict easier.

I think it's definitely not football. Football has the most match-fixing rate, so predictions come to wrong path at some point.
NBA basketball and ice hockey are best choices. Even in tennis there's match-fixing. Last week we saw another scandal.

soccer/football will be my best bet. cause i have been following them since 10 yrs ago. not really a deep researcher but at least i noe which key players r down, who transferred and which one is in good form or so.

Tennis is only interesting with tournaments but soccer is good to bet like always. Therefore i go for soccer.

Well for me i will suggest to you that you need a sport that you can easily to predict and i know we know and we sure what team is the best to choose.
I think basketball is the one we can easily predict and boxing. Some of them are tennis and golf.
If you choose soccer i think its hard to predict if what team will be win. so i excluded it.

Betting on Mixed martial arts is pretty fun and easy. I don't have a ton of experience with it but I usually come out alright on fight night. If you follow the matches sometimes you can see some good underdog picks.

I think tennis is the hardest sport to bet. And the easiest for me are soccer, basketball and esports. Because it's more predictable than other sports.

Well I mean honestly, it really comes down to what you have more knowledge about.  The more you know the "inside scoop" about what's going on with the players or team, the better probability you have of winning. 

Now when it comes to the odds, I find that sports like horse racing and maybe golf has the better odds of picking someone to win.  Even the best player in the field (for golf) brings out like a 3 or 4:1 odds ratio, because you are betting that player against the rest of the field, which decreases your odds of winning in some aspects.

But regardless, it's all about a matter of enjoying watching the sport, and having some money (or BTC) on the game just makes it that much more interesting for the gambler.

It is not true because you may be good in guessing results in these two so you will be thinking only those two games are good to make money but for me cricket is best because I know this game very well and I also made some good profit so for. It all depends on your sports knowledge.

What you said is correct because for me also cricket is a easy game to guess the results. Reason is I know most of the top teams players strength and they performance so we can make some accurate guessing but still end results will need a luck to win money.

The sports I gamble for is mostly Tennis, Football (soccer) and Horse racing. They seem most profitable to me. I too have made some bet for cricket but it's less predictable.

If you are not into sports to which i assume.
You'd have better rate of wining if you take a the MMA fights because you can check every backgrounds of mma athlete from winning rate, knockout power, footwork and its stands.

I think the best sport to gamble on is the sport you're most familiar with. If you're just betting chalk in a sport you don't have a lot of knowledge of, you probably won't fare so well.

Yeah i agree with you about follow your hometown teams, because you will know all of your advantage or weakness of your hometown teams. that's why i always bet sports when my hometown play.

i have to agree with you on these, although i think there is not best sport when it comes to sports betting but i like betting on soccer more than any other sports. just choose your favorite team and have fun watching their game and see how your luck turns out to be.

I prefer to bet on NBA because I follow the league daily and have deep knowledge of it. I also think basketball is the most predictable sport compared to Football (soccer) where there can be great upsets, a second division team can actually hold a draw by just defending and winning on penalties if that's the case. Plus there's 3 results and that's complicate things. In basketball you can't hide or just play defense, you need to do both and usually the best team wins. Of course it's not as easy asI claim but you get the idea.

Yeah knowledge is quite important. I am a soccer fan and yes then betting is a walhalla. There are so many leagues (both national and international) where you can bet.

I can't speak for anybody else but personally I've always had the best luck with football.

With Soccer you have the draw option which basically makes it like a 3-way choice instead of two. In Tennis you see random walk-overs and resignations which could screw up bets. Both hard to predict imo.

My favorite sport to gamble on is college football and college basketball in the USA.  March Madness college basketball can be especially profitable if you can choose the brackets correctly.  Keeping accurate statistics, injury reports, and individual match-ups is an extreme advantage in choosing the brackets.  It also helps to learn a little history of rivalries because sometimes the fans can influence the outcome of the games very subtly!

Yes, I agree.  It really depends on how much you know about the sport and how much attention you pay to it.  To be a successful gambler you have to do your homework and know what the heck you're talking about.  Otherwise, you're gonna find yourself getting head hunted by the sharps!

Boxing can be still incredibly lucrative even if Mayweather is now retired (it was easy as hell to make money with Mayweather, you just had to bet all-in for a win and you know you would end up victorious), but we still have the Klitschko brothers dominating, of course this may change and Tyson Fury may become the net big thing to go all-in and take guaranteed wins for the next years.

I always depend on ranking and experience, these are better factors helping me in betting and winning it more successfully, whenever I have to bet in tennis. Tennis is a beneficial and easiest for me to gamble with. I also use other games like soccer and golf etc.

Tennis, Soccer and Basketball is the most sports that people bet and yeaa it is best 3 sports to gamble, but if you talking about best high payout with high risk, horse racing is the best . you can mulitply your money starts from x2 to x100 , frequently favorite jockey (horse rider) with low odds @1.6 or @2 did not win the race, multiple times i won the race bet @5 and @7 so horse racing could be considered as best sports to gamble too i think.

I would have to say the best sport to bet on is the one you know the most and have spent the most time following in the past. Mine is English football as i have followed the premiership for two decades and within that time have gained a little knowledge that helps while making weekly bets. I used to bet other sports i never knew a lot about and i soon felt the dent in my funds and longer losing streaks than usual.

I know ranking is included in betting factor too but there is not always guarantee that high rank player will beat low rank player. Yeah I know tennis have a good odds although when it comes too high rank player too but the game is take too long that is why I dont really like it. Sports betting is more skill based; you have to understand the teams, the players, which players, if injured, will affect the overall performance of the team, etc. Of course, just knowing statistics won't get you a win all the time; that's where the luck part comes in.

If you know the most about soccer, don't bet on hockey. Bet on the sport you know well, and enjoy watching.

well to Filipinos the best sport to gamble when it comes to sports betting is basketball , because we really have  a passion in basketball and really loves to play it I think all Filipinos will agree to this the second i think is boxing :) I just say this because we love both basketball and boxing however it may really  different to the person which best sports is for him it really depend on the sports he loves to do and knows to do.

Apart from this you can add CRICKET in this sports their are three catagory

1.Test Match - 5days game
2.Odi - 50 overs each side one day match
3.T20 - 20 overs each side match

NBA, I love to bet on the NBA. Games here are very unpredictable and very fun to watch.

Tennis is good esp when odd is like x20 or x30.

That much odds can only be seen when there is a match between an established player and a new player or someone very low seeded and it rarely happens that new player wins.


To each its own, you know soccer so it seems easy to predict for you but that will not apply to others. Although, I doubt its that predictable to even the known ones, I find it extremely unpredictable.

hmm.. I dont think so.. It generally is around 14x at best, on bet365.. must be the player to break serve.. or the underdog to win the set after being down a break of serve.. could be correct set score as well.

Its better to say to bet on other sports it require knowledge of the rules of those games and for the one who don't have any intrest to those game don't know the rule. Soccer is famous as it is easy to understand and well known sports to everybody in the world.

i was watching a movie and it reminded me of another sport which you can gamble on and that is horse racing. i have always seen this type of gambling and liked it but sadly we don't have that in our country (at least not that i am aware of)

I actually like to gamble boxing and motorsports, but that games is not as often other sports.
so I can not every day playing gamble for that games

It is true - basketball is completely unpredictable. But if you bet on soccer, you have to admit that here as well happens a lot of interesting surprises ;). Especially in the Premier League. Cricket is good but for me basketball is better than cricket especially if we are going to bet with NBA.
