Title: How is now mining alts ?

Hello miners, i am not mining from 1 year, one friend ask me on skype, that want to mine again, he have 2 x 280x. Is this worth ?

If he has free electricity then yes, he can make a few coins if he picks some with low diff. Otherwise almost every scrypt asics on the market will easily outperform his rig, while consuming only a small fraction of the electricity what the two 280x would eat :).

Thanks for tha answer mate, but i  was asking for X coins, X11, X13, X15 , fresh, nist5 (i was mining all this) ?

Maybe this site https://www.whattomine.com/coins (https://www.whattomine.com/coins) can help to find out if he can make some money with two GPUs or not.

Yeah, but in general this times are really over. 2 years ago I was able to get something out of my ATI graphic card.
So it's not worth starting mining with such an equipment. The times have changed.
