I bought gas for 1.39$ a gallon today in Alabama. How long until 1$ again?.

Would definitely take awhile... been pretty good though with prices going down..

The oversupply of crude oil is very high for the last ten years which means more cheap gasoline coming.

Not sure where everyone lives but where I am at gas prices should be lower yet.
Government taxes the crap out of it so they don't want it to go too low. Considering Exxon made 2.4 billion this past quarter(was reported today) oil companies are still doing just fine.
Just goes to show you how bad we were getting it in the past.

$1.69/gallon in Lincoln, NE and falling

$1.47 in Sandwich, IL, the other day. I think at Walmart it was 2-3 cents cheaper if purchased with their debut card.

At least food prices haven't fallen as quickly. That's good news.  ::)

Our food prices are rising here quickly. They want us to eat healthy but are charging a fortune for fruits and veggies atm.
Diary prices are outrageous. Best to try and find farmers outside of the city to buy goods atm. They have not jacked up prices yet

I sure have been enjoying the low prices lately. I hope the low prices are still here when the snow melts enough for me to take the motorhome to the gas station to top it off..

Eggs were high for a while, but milk's down to $1.49/gal (gas is cheaper). Most everything else is still high because ... wait for it ... the price of gas, so we've been told as to why the increases, but has yet to lower due to gas' low price now.

Gas prices are low, but it seems like inflation is high on many other items :(  Would rather have the reverse.

This is just hidden economic war against Russia.
Oil price is deliberately falling down, to destroy Russian export of crude oil..
Russia have great natural resources and this is only game of US oil industry.

If oil prices are low for a long time than all other products (food, cars, laptops, jeans, whatever you want...) will be cheaper...

High energy prices are not good for consumers like us. Low prices give us time to develop sustainable energy resources like solar and wind systems and so we can get rid of these silly carbon-based energies...  

In Australia they have been giving away petrol for free :P

It's a $1.35 for a gallon here, that's a blessing. I remember not long ago it was $4.75 a gallon.

In Edmonton, it went below 50 cents today.  Last time it was this cheap was 1999.    :)

Our prices don't drop as much because price is dependant on Singapore oil price

$1.38 USD at Walmart in Sandwich, IL, yesterday. The last time I saw it this low was when it was $1.38.

You do know that the entire world uses liters, save for one backwards country, right?

You think thats an issue? just last year, gas prices on Long Island were hovering around $4-$5 a gallon. I would be lucky to be paying $2.50 for gas on long island ever again

it is about $1.65  here. waiting for food prices to come down now.

gas will always be flucuating just like bitcoin.
instead the prices are in control of the oil barons who are usually from the middle east or russia.

The current gas price here in New York is around $1.95, waiting for some price rollback.

I just can't beleive how cheep is the gas in the USA. It's much more expensive in Europe.

Mopeds don't count as decent mode of transportation in most of 1st world countries.
Weather wise and mountainous regions they will not make it good enough to use.

Some of those prices are really low.  It's starting to go up a little.  I don't know if it will get to $1.

gas is in low production. I not thinking the world is running low.

In Indonesia, for premium, around 0.5 usd/liter

in some Eu country price are above 1.30 euro per liter
