What Can We Expect From 2016 in Bitcoin Gambling?

I hope that we can keep continuing seeing development of skill based games like battlecoin.org and chopcoin.io, because the casino based games are way too widespread already, we need some variety. I would love more arcade games in battlecoin.org style to be adopted for Bitcoin betting. I would love a fighting arcade game, and a racing game, where you can bet against other 4 people or more.

Unfortunately battlecoin.org is not getting enough funds to continue development, so I hope the guy gets some investors interested soon.

I would like to see one big live poker tournament with prizes and buy in with bitcoins.
Not in one place, to be on several continets. I think that can be one hell of promotion for bitcoin.

thats what i love the most on directbet, the no account , no deposit feature which is perfect for bitcoin cuz of its anonymous nature. anyway i would like to see unique gambling sites this 2016 cuz im quite tired of dice and common casino games ;D

I do like the mentality behind this type of betting. There actually is no real need for a deposit and balance anymore if you do the slow type of betting, e.g. sports betting, where you can bet hours before the match.

For smaller bets like dice, blackjack or other casino games, the blockchain might not be fast enough in its current form to allow your betting by sending your coins to an address. The confirmation might take too long.

keep playing and earn money. I do not care about the promotion of gambling sites.

Very interesting thread here.  I believe that one of the best things that could happen for bitcoin is being accepted as a payment method in the bigger brand sites.  And, one of the best things for the online gambling industry is bitcoin!  I have been playing for years and  banking has been the biggest problem.  There have been so many different third party processes that I can't even list them.  Bitcoin is the answer!!!

It's already beginning.

Wow, just checked out the DirectBet site.  I like it!...I will be throwing some skin down on the superbowl.  I might even throw a chunk in on the "toto parley."  That's a feature I haven't found on the other sites I've been looking into, so that's a huge Plus One for DirectBet!

I agree with the article and most likely aside from other BTCitcoin gambling sites pop out, there would surely be those who would either switch completely their payment system to BTCitcoin or implement it together with other available payment systems on their site as a option. Perhaps some of the rules against gambling sites could change as well if re-evaluated properly.

i guess you're right about this no register account is good for gambling future because mostly people do not like create an account in gambling site and i think this is which causes why so many people use directbet for their sport betting

People like most anonymous and easy way to bet or gamble so sites with these features will be liked very much. I too use directbet site to bet in sports even though I know there odds are slightly less compared to others because of no registration and loading funds required.

I also agree with direct bet as bitcoin is evolved in the sense of anonymous payment processor so the one who uses it like to remain anonymous while gambling also. So no account and no deposit system is what bitcoin gambling need to think of.

After in 2015 ago pokerstars rumoured accept bitcoin and then they denied it, we can expect this year the biggest poker online site like pokerstars could really accept bitcoin because we all know it would push bitcoin market and development.

Besides the good advertising for bitcoin, this also provides them a lot of security. Credit card fraud is still running wild and a poker site is a good place to "launder" your money. They just deposit and lose it to several of their own accounts, poker room than has to cover after the funds get taken from them.

With bitcoin, this type of stuff would not happen any more as the transactions are non reversible.

The most awesome would be ofcourse if they would open bitcoin tables, but that may be a bit too early.

Your site and the concept is very good, but if you add exchange type betting like LAY AND BACK options in sports betting in soccer , cricket then i think your site will become more poplular just like BETFAIR exchange fiat currency site. I use to play in your site but due to no option of BACK AND LAY option i have to stop betting and in my circle also they are willing to bet but due to no option of BACK AND LAY in sports they are just betting in fiat currency site BETFAIR .

I will most likely expect for bitcoin to be more known to a regular individual that they can play games online as its been in the news for several times.

I wouldn't expect btc to be on TV when they display Forex rates though but I expect news online to be on TVs regularly. Most importantly, I expect BTC's value to go UP :)

I think there will be a bigger betting/casino market and less of a solely dice gambling market, as there currently is.  Alot of new crypto-accepting casinos and sportsbooks are spreading, and a few are one of my favorites, eSports! Yay!

It gets Bitcoin adoption to a whole new level and the community grows stronger every day.
And it makes betting sites more focused on getting better and more appalling.

So 2016 will be growth and getting better.

We are excited!

We can expect that it will be better, the bitcoin will rise to a higher amount.
So there will be more gamble websites in the future and that's also good for the future.
I think it will be better but lets just wait till it is so far.

I think it would be necessary to launch a gambling site with better mobile display or mobile apps for Android or iOS, at least for gambling bitcoin might be more attractive

There seems to be an expansion in sports betting in general because of the Daily Fantasy frenzy. Some leagues like NBA want to regulate gambling while NFL is against it.

In terms of Bitcoin I think we'll see more Poker sites opening using Bitcoin that are possibly endorsed or financed by someone reputable. There is room in the Bitcoin gambling market for new players to offer services while the customer base is endless. 2016 will be a good year for Bitcoin gambling and BTC in general.

2016 will be a great year for both bitcoin and the online gambling industry. I'm pretty sure we will see big online gaming companies starting to accept bitcoin.

I think this will happen with some time for sure, I think more big casino's gonna step in at the bitcoin.
A downside for this year is that I think less more people are gonna gamble because its getting a bad name here on the forum if you ask me, its just a small number but they can influence the market for sure.

2016  is already above all expectations :)

I think in 2016 there will be alot of regulation for Bitcoin and especially Bitcoin gambling. Kind of like what is happening right now with USA gambling regulations or Bitcoins in Russia.
