Dear Members,

What you guys think about Bitcoin's price after 3 months I mean on April 2016.

Please let me know your speculation about this.

i believe that there will be another little stagnation phase until "prior the halving" which cna be april may, then two things may happen

a pump before the halving or after it, if it happen after, it may be possible to assist at another slow increase to break another point(500?) before the halving, and then after it the real pump begin

if it happen before, than there will be a dump around the halving with a new low(500+), and a new possible top(1k+ as a peak? i'm not inclined too much to say 2k or crazy value like thta for now...)

I only guess that the price will be the same as it is currently, is stable at a price of around $350- $450, there will not be a big increase before halving.

I think that in April, the pump will be still moderated. We'll have to wait until the end of May or the beggining of June to see the price reach 600$.

The price will stay around $400 for two more months, then it will shoot up to $1000, and drop to $600 and consolidate for two months and then go up again due to the halving.

I predict that the price of Bitcoin on April 2016 will be $450-$470. My prediction is based on the ... well my another prediction which I made when Bitocin was around $250. I was saying then that by the Summer 2016 Bitcoin will be around $500. And I still think that Bitcoin will be $500 by Summer btw.

I have a feeling it will be within the $450 - $550 range by the next 3 months to come. Some of the issues are getting sorted out or will eventually soon and people will reverse the dumping action and as result more investments done over the couple of next periods so this will most likely to a steady or slow growth over the next 3 months.

I think it will be before that probably.  Maybe even the beginning of April when we start to see a pretty high spike in price.  I think at first it will spike off into the area around $550, stagnate, then boom to about ~$800 with upwards momentum when we pass the halving.  All in all, after we pass that point, we will start seeing some major resistance around there... You have to think, there is probably a lot of people who have been holding their bitcoins who got in during the 2013 bubble and just want to end up breaking even in their investment.  So once I think we get close, you will see a lot of people selling out because of the powers of FUD.

I do agree with you even i believe that bitcoin will be somewhere around $450 to $550 i hope it happens it will make us more richer.

I think by that time we will see the price sit in the range of $450-$500. We will see the dumps that happen from time to time continue untill we are 1 month before the halving. After that the price will sky rocket.

Beh, for sure it would not be under 200 us dollar and more than 1000 us dollar. With a few less probability this difference can be between 250 us dollar and less than 800 us dollar. Then with even less probability will be between 300 us dollar and 600 us dollar. The most less probability would its price between 350 us dollar and 500 us dollar. The most big probability of the amount of its price in us dollar would be between 370 us dollar and 480 us dollar. At the end, for sure, its price on April of this year will be between 420 us dollar and 460 us dollar. To be correct with the main post (which ask only a fixed value) my "conviction" about the value of bitcoin in this month will be 451 us dollar and will in this amount all the month of April.  ;)

I am guessing may be price get grow little before block halving. may be upto 450$. Better to buy at this time.

Yeah I am guessing about this dude. Halving will start from the least rate of 400$ only. Before that little zigzag in price chart we can see.

I think it will be 600-650 by summer.

Yes there some bunch of crap out there who keeps giving wrong suggestion and rumour about Bitcoin to mislead users even I think $400 is a standard rate for Bitcoin.

My guess is somewhere between $400-$500 as by that time the block halving is really starting to come closer and closer.

Realistic price of bitcoin based on what? Your assumptions? Realistic price of bitcoin based on blockchain functionality as the best information carrier we currently have is far more higher.
Bitcoin could be worth around $1000 once potential of blockchain as a ledger will be fully utilized.

I think it will stick around $400 and then rise after the halving. To about 800$. So in April, i would say somewhere around 400, just like now.

Well, to be honest, it is a pretty ridiculous question to ask for price development for such a short timeframe. There could be so many economical developments which could cause a pump or dump of Bitcoin price. Rather ask for a price development until the end of the year or price development until end of the decade. It woulde make more sense.

I think bitcoin price will increasing gradually from February till bitcoin halving. Maybe we can touch about $420 in April 2016 because people will buy bitcoin before halving. But those are only my opinions, we can't see anything about bitcoin price development because bitcoin isn't stable enough to be predicted for 3 months period. Maybe bitcoin can go down to $350 if there's a bad news or something which can make bitcoin price go down.

i guess nothing happen in the next 3 month because the bitcoin price is very unpredictable and no one could predictions the price with 100% correct and could be the price increase than the current price and it's possible too the price will down

Thats not fair, The price might me within the range of 500$. I don't think that the value would cross 500$ or reach 600$ in the coming months. The bitcoin price may increase only after five months.

If the price is unpredictable, why came you to the conclusion that there will happen nothing? This makes absolutely no sense  ::)

Perhaps the "nothing happen" is to state that he is abstaining from an opinion. The bitcoin price is very volatile, but you can still make general predictions based on the way it's going. I personally would vouch for somewhere around ~500 in 3 months.

I think bitcoin prices will rise at that time, although the increase is not high but maybe the price has reached $ 500 and above, and I am sure from the bitcoin prices will increase

I believe bitcoin will be between $400 - $500. That's the best I can make of what I'm seeing right now.
It's realistic to look forward to this value of bitcoin.

Maybe your prediction will be more true than mine, and I don't except it :-\. You say a lot of people will sell, to have their investment back, the price will have to go really high. Also, if you're right, this mean that the price will fall after the halving ? To which point to you think it will sink ?

I don't foresee much in the coming 3 months other than ever increasing screeching and chaos. Whether that has an effect on the price is moot but I don't think we'll be jumping for joy by then by any means.

I think we can see around $400 in April few months before the halving then will increase again while halving comes closer.

"BUT" this halving thing and all major upcoming news can be spoiled by a quite big bad news.

Right now, I have no basis for my speculation since it's really hard to show some low chance basis because of bad news interruption few months from now to April.

I think it will will be dropping soon and after the halving it will raise.
Its very difficult to say whats gonna happen with the bitcoin.
I think the bitcoin will be at the 600 dollars in about 3 months.

If it reaches $600 then it would be win win situation for many of us who invested at the lower price, and we hope that it will reach that level, I believe in next 3 months it will atleast cross $500 mark, and if it does then we would surely earn profits.

I don't know what is the bitcoin price after 3 months. but i'm sure the price will increase, because chinese new year and halving. i hope the price will increase up to $600.

Yes I believe that it will reach to that price in coming months, as more and more people getting into bitcoins and that is the good news for bitcoin community, the only thing we need is that the price should be stable when it reaches $600 mark.

you don't wary friend, I know and i am sure bitcoin worth will be increase above 600$ after 3 month because you can see there its price is continuously going up and bitcoin user are also increase high  than higher.

I think bitcoin will be around $500 in the next 3 months. At least that's what I'm hoping for.
The way that bitcoin has been going down, doesn't seem like it's going up any time soon.

Good prediction mate, I also have a feeling that it will reach to that level and will not cross $500 mark and will remain stable, it will keep on playing around $450 to $500 but we cannot be sure what would be the price after 3 months, as it would be waste of time to keep on predicting the value of bitcoins.

I think there will be no big moves for upcoming 2 months as we are seeing lots of sudden dump and gradual pump seems right now. I would expect it to only touch 500$ mark hardly before halving or by april this year.

I don't think we will see big price jump. The amount might be fond stable. The price of bitcoin may go upto 420$ not than that. There is also a possibility to rise very high as the US election is approaching

I think it's going to fall and rise. But I think it'll be worth more later.

This is what I try to get my head around when people say the price is low or very low. Based on what fact exactly?
The fact that a few months ago it was around $230 and nothing has changed just added drama and pressure?
I really believe within 3 months the price will be the same or we will be back to the pre pump levels of around $250.

Today's price is fine. If today's price will be the same as 10 years later then that is really ridiculous and you can called it very very low.

I wouldn't think too much about that. If you believe Bitcoin will make it, just buy as much as you can afford, put it in cold storage and wait a few years.
If you're looking for a quick buck I think investing can be risky and unpredictable.Although many believe Bitcoin will rise due to coming halving, there is no guarantee for that.The year 2016 just has started and no one here knows how much happiness and drama we will see.Your decision bud.

I find it also quite funny that some people find todays price to be "low" or "very low" as they like to say. These people only look at short term charts (if they happen to look at any chart at all) and say the price is low. They don't look at what growth Bitcoin has realized throughout the months.

The price now is about $350. It is quite a big rise to $550 in three months. Maybe it will that amount just before halving.

But you can't really say it's all that impossible. Just a while back it dropped to 250 and now it''s back to 350. A lot of things can happen with Bitcoins.

It's possible "literally" like the last big rally happened last year. Although it's not sustainable, it happens.

Everything realistic is possible to happen in bitcoin price. We just wait and see what will be the price before, during and after halving.

The price of bitcoin would be stable at the current price $350-$420 as there is nothing big coming up in the bitcoin world that culd make it go beyond or below this amount. May be after July, the price would rise by $200 and the price would be $650-$700 but till then we need to wait.

I came to a conclusion that the halving pump will not happen because too many people are expecting exactly this.

It quite difficult what price will be after 3 months but one thing is sure it will be above more than $500 in April - May, this will be very important phase because after this price will be get more high floor can get doubled very quickly after block halving.

Price after 3 months surely will be above up to around $500 - $600 and this has very good potential to get more steady growth.

The price has been stable since November which means that if the price rises now, it would again be stable at the new price. A $100-$200 jump is not a lot to expect but if the price rises above that, it could drop even below $300. I hope by halving we have a price that's not too low for the miners as well.

It's not possible as many news articles have predicted that the price can be above $550 in the coming months and we should be positive about this. The price is definitely going to rise before halving and hence $550 wouldn't be a high amount.

I think it will remain in the current range of $350-450, although perhaps we could see some peaks not beyond the $300 and $500 level. Ultimately I think a price stability is not so bad for the bitcoin.

Everybody wait for block halving and expect prices to rise, including me. I think speculators can use this and show another wave of fear and despair, like they did previous month with Mike Hearn. We have to be careful and hold onto our coins.
I think in April we'll still be in 350-500$ range.

As per the article, the price would most probably reach $650 and if not this amount, we should at least manage to reach $600 by April and if it gets double after halving there couldn't be anything better than that. Always coindesk articles have been right about their predictions as they had predicted the price to reach $400 in December 2015.

You could be right. There is no big news to drive the price up soon. The only one I can think of the the consensus of block size.

According to my calculation I think the price may go upto the range of $500.
This value can increase if the halving occurs within three months. Now we
can see a stable value which is fluctuating over the past weeks.

$500 as target could be easily reached within 3 months when people start to panic buy as the block halving is comming closer. It can happen at any moment but I think it will take at least a month before we go through the $400 price level.

Another bitcoin low statement about the current price. How can you consider this rate as a low price? How about backing back to $200 level last year?

Didn't you know that when price reached $300 last year, it was definitely consider as a high price by most of the people here.

i am fairly certain that in three months from now the bitcoin price is going to be higher than $400 and near $500 with $20 up or down.

but at the same time it is possible that the pump that we are all waiting for happens and price skyrockets to more than $1000 again.

$400 is nothing if you give it three months time. we are now around $20 away from the $400 price level. if a whale wants he can get the price above $400 within a few seconds. i am happy with any price above $600 just before the block halving. i am quite sure we will touch at least $600 and maybe even advance to $700 if there is enough buying power. only time will tell.

Yes it's really possible just hoping it won't be spoil by a non related market issues to bring more dips in the price like the two major negative issues last month.

Most people are speculating that the price of Bitcoin will rise but I think the rise might be short term. In three months time, the price might still be at around $350-$400

That price hype speculation before the halving will really spreads out that's why many will take part to take advantage of that price rise speculation. So in general, speculation will be the one that will increase the buy rates and not the actually what will happen during halving as we all don't know what will happen that time.

I think that the price of bitcoin in next 3 months would be between $500 to $600. The price might go up after the halving, so if the price climbs then we can earn some good profits.

By April we will be still in this dormant phase, stucked somewhere between $400 and $450. The halving will still have not much effect on the price. It will start later in the spring, but if there is nothing apart from halving to support the rally, many will be disappointed with how fast it may end.

From the recent price action, I think the price will trade in a range of $50 in the next 2-3 months.

I do not see this happen at all, the bitcoin will rise for sure in a few months.

I would probably say 500$ is the safe bet on where Bitcoin will be in 3 months. However thats a really short time frame and it could possibly go anywhere or just not change at all

The bitcoin price will be $500-800 within 3 months. That is mainly due to the expection of halving.

I think it is very possible for the bitcoin price to be over $500 in April if the core team increase the block size.

maybe is not! IMO, april is danger month for bitcoin to get big dump because we close to halving and maybe a trader will dump a price to get panic people will sell their coins in the cheap price

We still have more than a month... this $400+ rally  started just this February... so there is still a great chance that it might still go higher and might touch $500 on April..

$500-600 should be the top for the entire halving effect, if there is nothing else on the table. Whether it happens 3 months from now, which would be still two months before halving, I am also quite sceptical.

Considering the halving this summer, as everyone else has said, $500 USD is going to be the price of Bitcoin. 2016 may actually be the year of Bitcoin, so long more adaptation takes place.

I am 100% sure that the price of Bitcoin will be around $500 in April. Currently, the. Price is rotating around $420.

after 3 motnhs, halving will come, so price should up by tleast 50$ or who knows, maybe even more, because people won't know what to do price might rise alot

april is two month away if you count april itself, and jumping from 430 to 500 is not so unlikely in two months, it can easily happen  even in one week let alone two months time frame

Price might really be around $450 - $500 this April, and might go stable at it before the halving, and spike a little and might settle at that price again..

jumping is one thing, maintaining that level is quite a different story. The price already jumped to $500 in the last November and we didn't stay there for long.

Peak will be enormous over the 1000$, but this is very high price so i doubt it will stay for a long.

This is already more the double if you look at bitcoinwisdom last year at the same time.

You never know what it will be. It is very hard to predict and that is very bad. You never know what can happen with the price.
But if you are now looking at it you can see that the price is rising now very slowly and that is very good.

i believe the current price is a fair reflection of todays market. if you look at the long term charts, then you will see that we have been going up slowly. people only don't look at the long term charts. they just focus on short term peaks and quick profits. and that's wrong unless you are a very experienced day trader. then it's different.

May I ask, based on what you predict that the price will exceed $1000?
Apart from halving there is nothing on the table at the moment and you would have to somehow convince new money to flow into Bitcoin to reach $1k?
What would make them choose Bitcoin instead of other assets?

true on this i dont give high hopes for halving maybe price will go over 500 i give more after halving cuz last time price was 5x times bigger after halving

If after this halving thing then the price didn't even touch above $500 or even after more months after it happens then definitely I will give up for $1000 price expectations this year and will do my current trading strategy to make profits.

But of course, Im the person that will never let any advantage to just passed by so still I have my own plan.

Maybe the degree of the price rise will be lower as the market capitalization now is much higher than before.

It looks more and more likely that we stay where we were three months from here. That is stuck at around $400, maybe slightly more. For now, no reasons for further growth and halving is still too far away.

When this thread was started, the price was around $350 and now it rose for a while to $420 and it heading downwards. Looks like in a span of three months, there might not be a significant change in the price.

april 2016, price should be 500$, would be nice to see price liek this, of course i don't see future, but we had only price rises now and no drops,so i think it will stay like this in future too, 500$ is nice price before halving

stable $500 in April 2016 seems unrealistic. We may touch it as we did last November and that is it. Whether we see stable $500 before halving that also remains to be seen. I am not so sure about it. I think it is more likely to see a pump shortly after halving time. A lot depends on whether we have some fundamental developments to accompany it.

In April, we shall have clear picture of the block size increase situation. If the block size is increased, the price will be much higher than $500.

Its hard to say for what is going to happen in the future. But I think it will be indeed 500 or something.
We all hope that it will rise for a long time and that we can sell it with a good value. But you never know what will happen, it can also be going down.

I predict by the first of April the price will reach $450 to $500 per bitcoin.
and that will happen if there is no negative news appeared or spam tx attack on the blockchain and ruined the current up trend that starts last October.

I'm sure the next 3 months the price of bitcoin already passed the $ 400 price and has already reached $ 550, I think there will be a rather quick rise in the next month. keep thinking positive  ;D

We can expect a price around the $450. If the technology permits we can touch the $500 after 3 months.

if we come to 500 i dont think we can hold in for long to much pressure is current and i dont think we can expect this price not before June in my opinion

It's basically the same as when we were struggling to go above $300 and $400. Exactly the same battle will happen when we are trying to see the price reach $500. Whales are ready to sell loads of coins as soon as the price comes in the range of $460-$499.

the big players are just accumulating more and more bitcoin these days at this low price in order to be able to sell it when the price is $100 more than this and repeat the process again until the big pump comes.

I have been hearing "whales are accumulating currently" since we were sitting below $300 in 2015. The real market movers have already enough coins, I'm quite sure of that.

Whales really have gain a lot from the recent price change of bitcoin. They will gain even more after the halving.

Its hard to know for what is going to happen in the future. Because a currency is always changing and that is not good.

Everyone wants to profit after the halving so i think that before the halving price will be going down and when the halving is over the price will surely raise up to maybe 450-500.

Todays price is now at 430 maybe at the end of this month it can only reach the price of 440-450 nothing more than that.

It is still possible to go beyond that $450..we still have 13 days left, remember that price touched the $450+ this year and possibly, that could happen this week and may break $460...

But if we consider it to start this month then it will really be after the halving which I think the price might really have a small spike,. My guess is it will run around $600 - $700 that month.

I think the miner will stay mining because the price already rise but need to up a little again to make sure they will continuous mining.

Remember when the price remained below $250 for quite a while last year? The difficulty kept increasing which implies that miners will not quit mining directly. Smaller pools might temporarily shut down their hardware when they are losing money with their machines working. But they will come back again as soon as the price has increased.

May be you are right, but i think more, now we see only one reason the bitcoin's price increasing and that is halving, and only few days left, when halving will come, so June is the last month, and June has a great part for price increasing. So let see in the end of the June bitcoin price will be $700. If it will be happened so halving will be stopped at $1100 to $1200.

Well, I also felt it would be like that. bitcoin prices will reach $ 800 within 3 months. it is the highest possibility that will occur within 3 months. but it could be higher than the price, but the chances are low of bitcoin prices aka be $ 800.

my guess is that we will be on 800 for halving have some feeling about it
maybe wont hold much but it will be maybe even hit 900 but that will be it for this month at least

maybe fail to $1 ???

Yeah I agree it is impossible to predict the future of the Bitcoin price because we do not know what is going to happen after the halving.
If the price is going to rise then we can predict how far the price is actually going to rise.

bitcoin was increasing much  in this three months and i think bitcoin will growing more its price too faster and a large number of people more invest their money in bitcoin and hold its bitcoin for future because bitcoin will be more powerful currency in the future .

we just had halving when everybody was expecting bitcoin to rise,but so far the price is stable.
I think its a good moment to buy some,and just wait for it because we will see some growth,in next 3 months and im sure about it.

The price is in the consolidation phase at the moment. It will rise a lot after the next few months or a bit longer.

This thread was intended to end last April, but if we talk about today and the next three months, I think you are right, it could be around $800 - $1000...There is not much hindrance in the price right now and most probably it will make a slow crawl going up..

To be honest that is pretty hard to say because the halving is going to come soon and that may change the price.
The price can go up but it still is also possible that the price is going to go down.

The price of the bitcoin is less volatile than before, so the $1000 price target in the next 3 to 6 months is achievable.

I do not know what the price is exactly going to be like after three months but i am sure that the halving then is already over. It is possible that the price is then going to rise.
We just have to wait and see for our selves what the price is going to be like.

I hope that the price can at least be somewhere around $800 because I have been waiting some time for that to happen.

Yeah bitcoin price is giving the pulses and signs for getting more up and as up to my prediction and speculation the price i see after 3 months is around $700 to $1200 :D 

i think we might see even bigger numbers pretty soon, i hope that this will make me a lot of money though the price is unpredictable and it can go down in the future too

Since the halving, the market is very stable and we did not see any strong movements. So I speculate after 3 months we may see more market activities and big movements whether it's up or down

Yeah $800 can be a decent price if it does not meet any drops. And if the stability breaks the price goes even high making the target to be $1000 within 4 to 5 months.

I agree with that prediction. After several months of good consolidation, the price could rise over 50%.

That's pretty optimistic of you guys, even after this lack of movement we're currently having. IMO, the price would somehow decrease over the next few weeks, maybe down to ~$500. We've had a pretty long bull run the past months and a bear market is pretty much to be expected.

That could be right. The Bitfinex hack is a big shock to the market. The price rise will be delayed for some time.

I still think there's enough interest to have the price stay either around this level or go up. I'm predicting a price of about $600 in 3 months. Maybe in December the price will go down more because of people exchanging to fiat but for now it should be okay

to me after 3 months the price of bitcoin will be above 800USD, as you can see that before the recent down fall the price of bitcoin was trading in 670$ and still people were investing their money in bitcoin, because every one wan thinking that the price of bitcoin are going to increase, when the bad  news about bitfinex spread in the market which cause panic selling, as the market has now recover so much and now people are again taking interest in the market therefore i can say that bitcoin can cross 800# after  month or two.

sure the price will increase, before it was predicted that by the end of this year bitcoin price will be $1000 but after the bitfinex hack now the speculations are that it will reach this by 2017.
