Title: [ANN] Providing escrow services for a particular market
Post by: Reynaldo on January 29, 2016, 04:36:47 PM
I'm gonna try to give something back to the community.

The funds are going to be hold in COLD STORAGE every time.
I do NOT use Skype for closing up deals, I'll always use the bitcoin talk messaging system to close up any deals or escrows.
I am NOT anonymous, you can contact me through https://keybase.io/reynaldo for PGP signatures and verify my identity.

For any deals between 10$ USD to 100$ USD my fee will be a fixed of 1.00$ USD using bitstamp.
For any deal less than 10$ USD, it will be free.
For deals > 100$ USD please contact a more trusted escrow from the following topic managed by marcotheminer: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0

For OgNasty: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303281.0
For TomatoCage: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=581834.0
For Monbux: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=631008.0
For SebastianJu: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1102721.0

For each trade I'll use a different address that will be signed with https://keybase.io/reynaldo
If you think my account is compromised, please ask for a signed message.

If two escrow requests happen at the same time, how do you give update on the op with two cold address? yes, you can do it. But  Normally traders require private escrow.
I have to say fr the range $10-100, your fees are really high. Since we have many great low fee escrows out there, I doubt who will use your service.

If you would be as kind as to escrow a deal for a domain for 0.04 BTC for free, It would be much appreciated. I will leave a vouch and hopefully my trade partner will do so too.

Still waiting for my partner's confirmation to go through with the deal,
~ Sir_Lagsalot

I must say I am impressed with your becoming a new escrow approach.

"For deals > 100$ USD please contact a more trusted escrow from the following topic managed by marcotheminer: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0" <- well done not trying to jump right into larger deals. Good luck with your service and as a former escrow I think your rates are more than fair.

Hi, do you provide escrow for bitcointalk accounts? I've recently won an auction, but so far, we haven't found a suitable escrow that would accept us. The deal is ~0.0176 BTC in size, which is about $7 USD. Please PM if you can provide your services for this deal, so I can tell the other party.

Your rates need to be fixed, a $5 charge for a $10 transaction plus extra transaction fees is more that 50% of the money traded, you should just do escrows up to $40 for free

The funny thing is, on the list you submitted, nobody has a significantly higher minimum escrow fee except dabs (0.03 vs your ~0.01)
3 of the people on the list ask for 0 fee for all transactions.

The question then is: Why should anyone come to you for any transactions when Monbux (pretty much the top escrow), SebastianJu (>500k$ escrowed) and BitcoinDream all offer free escrow services for all transactions?

this is good for encurage people to use your service.

For any deals between 10$ USD to 100$ USD my fee will be a fixed of 5.00$ USD using bitstamp.
the range $10-100, your fees $5 are really high.well I think it will be better if you take 5% because you know if someone trade for $10 he have to pay your fees $5 that means 50% .no one will be interested to used your high fees escrow services.hope you understand.don't mind.cheers :)
