Title: Fund your 5dimes.com acct (a leading casino/sportsbook/poker site) using bitcoin
Post by: ThaddeusB on January 04, 2013, 02:27:11 AM
I am offering to fund your 5dimes.com account (new or existing) in exchange for bitcoin.  I will offer market rate (~Mtgox USD bid) in exchange for your coins.  Minimum trade is $50; maximum is $1000.  I am well known on SBRforum.com and have a long history of honest conduct there (and several verified trades here).

Let me know if interested in thread or via PM.

Thanks,
Thaddeus

I currently have an abundance of cash in my 5dimes account and would like to convert some into bitcoins.  I asked customer support and they are happy to transfer funds from one account to another free of charge.  Looking for a trade near fair value for around US$1000 of funds.  I will be happy to use escrow if desired.

Let me know if interested,
Thaddeus

You might want to try moving this post to the Gambling board.   There probably aren't enough people around this board who also have a 5dimes account.

Great idea, Thaddeus B. I'm in the SBR sportsbooks section encouraging people to give btc a shot ;). The mods just nuked our big thread, hopefully they won't nuke my new one.

FWIW, I don't know Thaddeus B. personally, but he's been a solid guy in SBR ever since I joined years ago. He even ran his own "SBR points" sportsbook over there. He gets my vote of confidence through SBR alone.

Completed another trade today (thanks stoppots for the repeat business).  Still time to get funded for the Super Bowl; current price is approximate $20/coin.

FYI: It looks like 5dimes accounts can be funded with Visa cards, so these transfers might be reversible.

And, on another note, how do we know this is the same guy on that forum?

(Sorry for being so skeptical, btw.  I'm sure the guy is legit, but I just want to make sure.)

Funding is being done from my balance at 5d.  I don't believe you can fund someone else's account directly for them (although I could be wrong).

Feel free to PM me on sbrforum.com if you like.

2 more successful transactions via PM brings the total to $485 traded over 5 orders.

I asked the parties involved to post here, but they have not.  Since they might not want their names associated with gambling, I won't post specifics here. However, I can provide a screen shot of the balance adjustments at 5dimes upon request.

At current prices, it only takes 3.7 coins to fund $100 at 5dimes.

Would you consider doing payouts? I hate walking into the WU location and waiting for the to dig up the cash.

Sorry for not replying earlier, I previously missed your post...  Yes, I would consider a payout but there would be a fairly large markup (fee) - around 7% if you deposited through me or 10% if not.

Let me know if interested,
Thaddeus

Anyone know ThaddeusB IRL?  I am trying to get a transaction completed and he has not logged in to the forum for over a week.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know Thaddeus IRL.  I do "know" him from the SBR forum.  Sometimes he gets real life busy and doesn't show up for a while.

I am also interested in selling 5Dimes funds for bitcoins.  I PMed Thad over at SBR because I didn't want to step on his toes since he was here first.  Like you I haven't heard back.  He often has a large backload of PMs over at SBR.  He runs a "sportsbook" there where posters wager free SBR points.  He is the SBR points impressario haha

If you don't hear back from him you can PM me.  I do have references and have a good reputation for selling 5Dimes funds at 2+2 poker forum.  If you can get in touch with him, of course deal with him first.  I am gonna PM him here and see if I have better luck than at SBR forum where he probably has 100 unread PMs.
