I've recently had to restore my wallet.dat to bitcoin-qt after hard drive failure. I've since received coins to some of the old addresses in my wallet and although they show up on the blockchain and my client is up to date they are not appearing in my wallet. Is there something more I need to do? Some just showed up, so hopefully the rest will appear soon. The wallet backup is only 48 hours out of date, so all my old addresses are showing. Noticed some slightly odd behavior, renamed the label on 1 address and it created a new address, so my client is showing 2 addresses with the same label now. ???
