Title: Fort Galt (accepts Bitcoin)
Post by: The Bitcoin Co-op on February 01, 2016, 06:23:25 PM
One of our friends is a die-hard libertarian who is building an Ayne Rand-inspired community in Chile with a few partners. It was originally going to be built at Galt's Gulch Chile, but they changed their mind due to the drama there. You can buy rooms and property with Bitcoin--we wrote an article about it for NewsBTC: http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/02/01/fort-galt-triumph/

I genuinely believe I would prefer to spend months fashioning a spike from a tree trunk with my tongue and then take a running jump at it with the intention of landing on my sphincter than live in a community inspired by Ayn Rand, but I hope they're all very happy together.

I know. I can't help myself. Like most things that philosophy is a lovely idea if it remains a theory. When you get actual humans involved the reality is going to be rather gross. May they find what they're looking for all the same.

I could not have said this better myself, sir.  I doff my hat to you.  Why does something that has so much potential have to be ruined by such shitass ideology?  I would love to spend my bitcoins in a whorehouse or in a back alley dilation and curettage clinic (in that order) but not some fountainhead fuckfest.  But it's late and I must be off.
