Hmm when mitchell said that he doesnt understand how an auction works i made the assumption that the increments are of .005.

Yeah, I can see that. The thing is, it takes all the fun out of an auction (the whole point is to start low and work up slowly) and they already won the previous one. Guess I'll sit this one out and see how the next auction goes.

Bidding up that quickly can scare other people off from bidding, and is one strategy that people can use to win auctions
