However, it seems the Israeli Libertarian Party (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ale_Yarok) is not very mainstream, as "it has had no representation in the Knesset". (I am unfortunately not well-versed in Israeli politics, and do not know how their Knesset works—if it's similar to the Us's, this is not a concern). Do any bigger political parties accept Bitcoin?

Our elections are in a week or two ... perhaps 3-4 years from now. Title: Re: Israeli Libertarian Party Accepts Bitcoin Contributions Post by: Invictus on January 07, 2013, 11:00:30 AM How many members are in this party?
Title: Re: Israeli Libertarian Party Accepts Bitcoin Contributions Post by: ben-abuya on January 07, 2013, 04:24:32 PM This is a very new party, they only really started operating a couple of months ago. The background story is that the nascent libertarian movement in Israel just came into existence about two years ago, and has been growing quickly ever since. A few of the bigger activists took over an old marijuana party ("Ale Yarok," or "Green Leaf") and turned it into a pure libertarian party. They'll be running for the coming elections in a few weeks.
It's hard to say if they'll get into the parliament, but they've been pretty successful at spreading their message. For instance, their Facebook page has over 40,000 likes and has gone up almost 30,000 likes in just the past month. http://www.facebook.com/AleYarokLiberal?fref=ts Title: Re: Israeli Libertarian Party Accepts Bitcoin Contributions Post by: ripper234 on January 07, 2013, 05:49:33 PM This is a very new party, they only really started operating a couple of months ago.
