I am assuming you mean Bitcoin businesses?

If you're not talking about Bitcoin businesses, most states have very broad categories published online (and I've never heard of a search by category feature), but there is no federal registry AFAIK.

I want to try a business like: I can help you to upgrade your business to a bitcoin enabled business.

In contrast to pretty much every other civilized country there is no comprehensive business register for the US. You'd have to check for each state individually. Here's a bunch of links: http://www.sba.gov/content/registering-your-business-state-agencies
