Today I noticed another round of faucets without adsense ads.

The same happened a few weeks ago to some other major facets.

This looks bad for the economy of faucets  :-\

very bad news,I don't know whey google adsense disable ads.it's not good for faucet runner.

i've seen more than 25 faucets like this today

what's going on?

For them (google), it's probably all about business.
They probably noticed that the traffic on faucet sites has a very bad CTR on their adds, so basically, their advertisers pay top dollar to get their ads seen, but they don't get enough quality traffic in return.
If this continues, advertisers will start using other platforms, costing google some business, so they decided to remove most (if not all) faucets.

To be honest: i haven't investigated the issue fully (don't use any faucets myself, neither do i run faucets). It's just an educated guess.

Faucet owners mostly dont respect adsense rules, Ads are overlaping, pushing site content to low, there is to many ads at once etc. As #mocacinno said its also bad for their buisiness, bad CTR.

Actually faucets were never a suitable option to gain bitcoins. They were a bit useful as a first option for newbies to get their first satoshis, but the real impact of faucets at the bitcoin economy is really insignificant.

agreed, i've seen both cases, honest and also cheater faucet owners.
I think because of cheaters they are banning everybody

This may looked bad at first but there are other alternative ad companies as opposed to google adsense and now is the time for faucet owners to switched to them. Even BTCitcoin advertising companies could make further improvement and be the number 1 choice on this matter. The rewards might not be of the same but this was coming their way specially those owners who were trying to earn more in a dishonest way.

Another reason could be that those faucet owner got their adsense account by using other website or they purchased from someone .

well I'm going to put a blog on my site that should protect me , and after only GOD knows what will happen ??.

so this mean now faucet will lowered their reward? I think they will not specially those famous one will be in profitable stage also without adsense. There are lots of bitcoin related adnetwork than support faucet, so there should be no problem for faucets.

The most important rules to adsense is "accept only site with real content"
99% of faucet, don't have content, is every time the same page, with faucet and a fast explanation to story of bitcoin.

I started a faucet Satoshicoins 2 weeks ago.

Got adsene approved with same domain as a faucet but 2 days ago they disable my account because of invalid activity. :-\

Don't even know what type of invalid activity was that  ???

There were just 40$ in my account so not a big loss like other faucet owners. ;)

That's what I want to say . If they would submit their real faucet website to create new adsense account then adsense would not accept them because of low content so those blocked faucet adsense either bought by someone or added under already existing adsense account .

But i submit my real faucet website and still got banned :D
If someone help me about invalid activity?
& how to avoid it iin future?

I think most, if not all faucets would fail the criteria above under close scrutiny.

Nice article you linked I see if we put other companies then AdSense may disable account .

So if I use adsense. I can't use any other advertising from any other companies on that website?

Adsense actually says you can use account to any website what is following their rules and there is no option to add new website for review.

Yea you're right you can buy approved adsense just for 30$.But that account must be ban when you try to cashout.  ;)


But faucets are not following adsense rules.No content to attract visitors.

When you got approved there is no need to add new website for review you can use 500 website on single account.
But they must fulfill adsense TOS.

For me it was quite hard to get accepted to adsense. Did not used any tricks.

How can you say that faucets are not following adsense rules? Many faucets have other stuff besides faucet.

I think 95% faucets are not following adsense rules & the other 5% I really don't saw them. :D

Actually adsense requires original and regularly updated content.But in faucets just same old bitcoin history and stuff.
In reality we don't visit faucets for content we visit for money & i think thats against google TOS.

Thanks. About Freebitco.in, they said they are premium adsense publisher, so there should not be problem in faucet concept in overall.

Have to add that we have been paid to visitors many months, almost half year before any income from adsense. Mostly by MellowAds.

It is too bad that adsense is banning those faucets, but, as some of you previously said, this can be good at last for other ad companies that are not adsense. I find some of them quite profitable.

This morning I went to bitcoinzebra, and in a small window I saw the announcement that the domain was for sale.

Bit coin zebra is no more profitable since AdSense blocked that domain.

I can see google ads there...
And I can't see for sale announcement.

But i still can see adsense content units on site.
Is it possible that after ban you make a new account and use same blacklisted domain?

Probably account was banned not the domain name ?

If someone did not know, premium adsense publishers are invite only by google and they have different rules than regular accounts and first access to new adsense features etc.

You must need to have a authority website. A trustworthy website to general users on whatever niche you work on.
You must need to have completely unique content with no violation of any copyright infringements.

Their should be any rules maybe 50000 unique visitors for premium AdSense account .

Regarding to ONLYfrees link, amount of unique visitors needs to be seven times higher than that and besides you need to had over 5 million unique searches leading to your site.

Also looks like they had premium adsense account too so that can't be the reason why freebitco.in is still working...

Sad to hear that but Google always will try to give it's. clients what they paid for.

It's everything really wired, becauce few days ago google accept my fresh faucet to google adsense program.

Ofc you will have to worry about your adsense.Its doesn't matter that google accept your faucet for approval(Nob-Hosted) but if you break TOS they will kick you out without any further details :P
Me too use my faucet to get approval from adsense but after 2-3 weeks got ban because of invalid activity.
Just don't play with their rules and you will be safe because there's many faucets using adsense from a long time with no major problem.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I've always had a good experience with adsense. It's important to follow the rules, but one of the rules is to have a website that adds value and has relevant content. If you throw up a canned faucet script, with literally zero content, you are automatically breaking the rules you have agreed to with Google. Your best bet is create an informational website, and add a faucet to it. Or if you can think outside the box, create a interactive faucet in the form of a game.

Rule #1 is don't put all your eggs in one basket. If you are completely dependent on the revenue from adsense, you're doing it wrong and will eventually lose. Get creative, follow the rules, and develop something that is your own rather than use a basic, out of the box template that everyone can recognize from a mile away. Stop drawing unneeded attention to yourself.

It also helps if you can create other non-faucet related websites that generate traffic and have adsense revenue. It's called diversifying your portfolio.

I would say just follow the rules and no need to worry .

but how to make traffic better? I do not have any influence over that ;/

As a faucet owner increase rewards and referral commissions to attract new traffic.Or simply use IP base script to pay high rewards from 1st tier countries traffic and increase your chance of better earn & also add some informational content to your site to obey adsense TOS.

also try to protect your faucet from bots and proxies .

Your are right. Most of btc faucet has no enough data/contents. Google has some strict rules. If google found some one breaking their rules, they simply block him with no warning. That's the reason most of faucet got banned I think.

I also think that they banned them for traying to make miss clicks on add (putting anti bot links on google ads or on they boarder).
