However, I think it's extremely unlikely it will ever reach $1000. I can see it easily reaching 1BTC = $100, maybe even $200 at a push. If bitcoin is ever fully adopted it should reach the 1 million dollar mark by the time we all want to retire.

Bitcoin is up 90,000% since January. Most people will say that that rate of appreciation is unsustainable and will end any day now. Most people have been saying this since I first got here.
