Title: Programmer for hire.
Post by: exect3r on February 04, 2016, 12:20:09 PM
Greetings,

I'm an experienced C# programmer looking for work.
I charge little money (but still depends on the complexity of the job).

How it works
   1. You send me a PM with your request. (the more details you provide the better the outcome would be)
   2. I write code.
   3. I send you images of the product to check if it satisfies the request.
   4. If the product is satisfying, We discuss the price.
   5. I send the code (or the finished product if you will) to escrow. You do the same with the payment.
   6. Escrow does their job.
   7. Done.

If you find any bugs in the product let me know so I can fix them for free.
[EDIT] To gain some trust, I'm willing to do some jobs for very low price and even for free.

Thanks in advance!

This is your only post, you need an escrow for this kind of service, much better if you have a site where people can see your works and from there make a purchase,it's much easier than posting it here, without assurance of your service, you need a third party if you want to make a deal here..

lol maybe he will just make the User Interface of the app using paint or Visual Studio and send you the pics. After you send the money ,you will never hear back from him.@OP not really doubting your service or skills but you need to present your service properly like maybe from the design process itself escrow the funds .

Thank you for the tips robelneo!

What I thought of doing is after creating the product, I'd send images showing it's features. If they like it, I'd send them the product that's very limited (also known as demo).
But you get full access if you enter some sort of key, and you get the key after I receive the payment.

Sounds legit right ?

 $5 wouldn't really hurt.

not nice to say that, in some countries $5 means a day or even a full 5 days work. the number it means to you can mean a lot more to other people.

and FYI, the way you said it its like : yeah give me $5 ill scam you anyway but you wont die its just $5

Yeah you're right, that wasn't a wise thing to say.
And I live in one of those countries. No online payments yet (they exist but it's a huge pain just to make one) that's why I'm trying my luck with Bitcoins.

Also, I'm charging for real cheap (not doing this for survival, just pocket money), so even if I was a scammer, loosing $5 wouldn't really hurt.
Knew the soft way that there are lots of 'Fake application' made for real cheap, wouldn't jump the alarm but going according to your 'method' seems quite shady IMO

Perhaps you have another 'method' that's not/less shady?
I'm quite interested if you do , please let me know.

Well I remember using this guy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=579628) for a programming job of mine, what we did was, I sent BTC to escrow, he sent the code for me to compile, I did(on a VPS) and then when it was as I expected the escrow released the payment. This would work with most members with even a bit of trust ratings/higher ranked members as newbs have nothing to lose and often come up with complicated schemes for getting something for free.
You could use the above mentioned 'method' for higher ranked members , and maybe come up with a few discounted 'vouch copies' so as to prove your legitimacy(for using your 'method' on newbs, i.e send a SS for verification)

Yes, thanks for the tips,

I actually thought about if first but I was afraid people would have trouble compiling it so I went with the demo idea.

I'll try your method and hope for the best.

Just be careful from the assholes who are willing to scam for a buck or two. Hope your service prospers if you are offering a legit service  ;D
