Title: [2016-02-04] Polish Programmer Claims He Is Not Satoshi Nakamoto Post by: shane on February 05, 2016, 12:08:29 AM The latest individual, or in this case, pair of individuals suspected of being Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, has denied accusations. Pawel Pszona, a Polish programmer was believed by username BountyHunter2012 to be Satoshi Nakamoto. Pszona published a Master’s thesis paper in 2007 as a student with the help of his professor Dr. Grzegorz Stachowiak titled “Unlinkable Divisible Digital Cash without Trusted Third Party.”
Besides a vaguely similar ethos shared between Pszona’s publication and that behind Bitcoin, two Japanese cryptographers with the names of Toru Nakanishi and Tatsuaki Okamoto were found in the bibliography of the thesis. And news site should do research before putting anything up. I liked the Pawel Pszona theory more than any of the other conspiracy theories. Even though all of this is very entertaining, we should consider the impact of this on innocent people and also respect the choice that was made by Satoshi to remain anonymous.
Most of these attempts to unmask Satoshi, is merely a witch hunt or an attempt to get attention. Give Satoshi the privacy and the safety that anonymity gives.
