I asked for my BTC back as almost a month and I got this just now


So I will not get my BTC back.

You were a lot more patient than I would've been.....

How can he have the means to organize his million man concert (never mind the fact that the same logic preventing him from being in the public eye for a job should affect his life the same way as being in front of a fucking million person crowd) and not have the means to pay you?

What's the plan here dank, live like a hobo until the status of limitation kicks in? Man up and face your responsibilities, both to Squall and to society.

This is even more infuriating because dank was given gift cards for Christmas and talked about buying BTC with them.  He says he gave away his possessions when he could have sold them to pay squall something.

Just tag him mods, this one really shouldn't need much discussion.

And dank, go post on Bluelight or opiophile.  Your drug-fuelled bullshit has nothing whatsoever to do with Bitcoin.

This is the first time I've ever done this on a scammer issue, but unfortunately for Dank there should be no further discussion on this issue, for it's fairly plain to see that he is reneging on said loan. This should be a no brainer for the admin(s). If it is not done prompto, I will have no choice but to learn Photoshop and draw a thin French mustache on theymos.

I think fgervais should probably forward the PM he got the other day where dank implied he was going to use his giftcards to pay squall, too.  It's pretty obvious this whole "make January 9 no more money day" thing is all about coming up with a reason not to pay anyone.

We think this may be dank (he posted his name and where he was from).  If he followed his "soul mate" out of state, it's entirely possible that he missed a court appearance related to those charges and that a bench warrant has been issued.  Of course a fail to appear is usually pretty easy to sort out so it's just another excuse on dank's part for doing nothing.

We'd need one of the lenders to whom he's provided ID to verify that's the right guy.

This looks pretty cut and dry.  He hasn't paid back the coins and has admitted to having no ability to pay back in coins.

I'm actually really disappointed in Dank. When he talked about his "soul guarantee" he always seemed so earnest about not ripping people off. Granted, he was eccentric, but I thought he would come through in the end.

Same here. I saw evidence of mental problems and a lot of immaturity, but I thought dank was being honest when he said he would not steal the deposits. It's sad he decided to prove every detractor right.

It was just the angle he used that's all. He's just a plain old scammer like the rest of them at the end of the day.

If that's the guy, he lives in my neck of the woods. I'll keep an eye out for any reports on him.

My impression is that he was living in Raleigh until the end of last summer and then moved when his "soul mate" went to college (there's a post where he talks about moving 100 miles to be with her).  He likely gave his lenders ID which had Raleigh as his address.

Bummer. I'd love to see his sorry ass trying to scam people on the street or something.

No, but for me the fun stuff was when he was doing financing for his hookah lounge. The concert bit was a tad stale, and it's only downhill from now on. I'll keep an eye out for the ASIC meltdown, but apart from random bursts of wtf like torac this place is getting dull.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, :-) The reality is, I have had lots of successfull deals, Because I have lost a few larger amounts, It's easyer to remember and stands out, I am doing quite well,  However, My confidence has been hit quite hard, Apart from a small lending here and there, I won't be helping anyone on here, As far as Dank goes, I doubt I will see anything more, I have a list of people who owe me, When BTC reaches a higher value, I shall be building up some air miles.
