Title: Does Theymos use a proxy/tor network to access bitcointalk?
Post by: Monnt on February 07, 2016, 02:09:56 AM
As the title says how does Theymos access the forum? Because theoretically if he didn't use for/a proxy, we could find his identity? Not that it isn't known, due to TF :)

What ???

Theymos's identity is public due to theymos posting it, among other places on the donation page.

TF only posted his dox that was previously publicly available.

Even if the above was not true, theymos accessing the forum with the IP address associated with his account with his local ISP is not going to do shit considering that he is Admin of the forum.

To top all of this off, AFAIK there is not any kind of serious scam accusation against him so finding his identity is a moot point.
