I personally never heard of it. Cursory glance shows an unimpressive site on vanilla amazon platform. It might be good to talk to some real users of the platform first.

I'm a bit doubtful about it, it seriously looks like a scam.

It's a lending platform and the owner actually take in the rules of the forum about giving loans with collateral. I actually think the service is great since the members here gets to talk and knows who is who but the only downside is the whole wesite doesn't really look legit and if you are someone who is very cautious in giving out your personal details then you will really be doubtful into giving them yours.

I'm the official customer support for the website and can assure you its not a scam as you are putting it.Since you have already invested you could have seen your daily or weekly interests rates right ? Also fact that we don't have as many investors and maincoon himself is providing loans for forum  members from his own pocket should convince you of his intentions.

All the loaning websites are good if you fund into good lenders ,otherwise there is nothing much that you could do if the person doesn't wants to repay your money.Hundreds of defaulters aren't charged anything on Jam & loanbse.

Well, I think that is not what people would like to hear,at least the investors wouldn't.There is no reason for your review to not be a bias one.

These is a new project similiar to btcjam,where you take the risk to loan to others,the sucess of the investment and loand funds is where you invest the money but no one can say that the project isnt good the people that goes around loans sometimes are just scammers,but there are honest persons that pays ,but without an valid colateral these days lending to a person that we dont know is a huge risk bigger then gambling or trading.

I am getting REAL IDENTITY as something like collateral.
Just by removing anonymous borrowers i am able to get low default rates.

Think about it - you can lend money to some stranger online (that was credit scored) or to a friend that you know personally.
If you know somebody and you know where he lives there is smaller problem with people defaulting. And once they default they will be never able to take any new loan and they personal record will be stained forever as displayed here ( http://www.shamelist.it/ (http://www.shamelist.it/))

By lending to people you already know and trust you are safer than lending to total strangers. Global collection is hard to do and just look for default rate on btcjam or loanbase.

I know that investors are looking for hard data - therefore each borrower profile on getline is public, all can be audited and checked by audit company

Well shy people would expose themselfer since one of purposes of bitcoin is being and stay anonymous,just the adress is left,and ip no face and no name on it.Soo you should be offering loans of fiat and not bitcoin ,i wont even try it now that i  know i need to show off.

Because anonymous people don't have anything to lose. And see for yourself how harsh treatment is applied to newbies asking for a loans.

I placed  request for a loan on the site but I don't know it can be tracked. I was able to enter the details but there was no option of creating an account on the site. How does one know the progress of the loan?

Thats a good question because i can not see it anywhere in the FAQ i will signup today and try to find out this info and then i will post it here.

Actually, the site looks quite new and the information to be provided is very little. Their customer care representative asked what collateral I have but when you visit the site, there is no place to declare the collateral that you want to use. May be the will improve with time

I still need to know if they want proof of identity and if they check your credit rating, im 18 this year and have no money on me so if they check my credit rating is 0 how would i improve it.
I have no source of income i only need a loan to buy a file sharing site which is on sale for $15K.

We don't care too much about proof of identity since any scammer can obtain gov ID documents/fake them.

Only thing that matters if you have REAL LIFE friends that are willing to trust you and give you money. If you don't have ANY real life friends that will vouch for you that will mean you should not get a loan. This is simple system and it works - see our stats

Well thats normal the most people here hit the newbies or low ranks members asking for loan without nothing to that can be sold to repay the ammount,congratulations to your stats i wish sucess to your project,but i dont like btcjam and i wont be on your project as well there is nothing that assure you that we will get paid,online world is full of plenty scammers thats why i make my lend here and at poloniex both safes.

Well if they work with bitcointalk accounts and altcoins were forced on this lending service i believe no scammers would be present,because as for a loan all are able to do,but how do you know if they will repay ?Take your risks even here or btcjam,i believe its better to get from bitcointalk as the system is working for some of us.

Problem being that it's a rather rare thing to see a good lending offer on bitcointalk!
And when there is one it's taken in a matter of minutes ^^

Well sure these days is getting harder but i see some lenders always active and several requests being made the thing is the lending market has several people offering and just some are asking.But well atleast you can choose the best service and trusted member here.

The process of signing up with this website is quite complicated. I tried to signup but i was unable and gave up. It is also not very clear how one can get a loan from this site. i once heard that one needs collateral to borrow and also that you should have your friends signup so that you borrow from them. I am not very sure about this but may be a need a clarification.

I never trust such sites, also its never too wise to give your ID proofs to such sites, ever you might get scammed by them or misuse.

I have also registered but got the answer from support that atw the moment they are no longer taking new aplications for loans. Lending site and they can't provide the loans. Strange.

Sorry, we had lot of work recently. We found out solution to bug - to register you can temporary use borrowing wizard.

I don't quite understand. I have already registered and contacted support to tell that I'm hero member here, like you have advised me. But didn't get any answer and I can see my profile on the page but I can't see thatw my loan request is visible tow others.

The main reason under this since admins are always from here is that someone get scammed and lost their coins at them?No reply from support with soo low numbers of costumers let you know the service you are trying to get and the level,there is no way to run a business without support to help costumers and make the project live for a long time.

Some people are asking for a loan with nothing but some bitcoin talk account.  They are denied in 99% cases.
IF you want to take anonymous loan you will not get it because investors will not trust you. Having connected legit facebook to getline makes it easier because you can ask facebook friends for investing. I am not offering free money and i saw that no collateral loans is attraction for scammers - and scammers are time consuming regarding communications with them.

Main use case for getline.in is borrowing/lending to people already somehow trusted. Gentlemen agreement is a thing.

Honestly i was little burned by some scammers from this forum like Roberttt or Emerge so i am not compelled to offer loans to not trusted people here. Investing is possible but again - you  have invest in people you know otherwise platform will not protect you from defaulting scammers.


Now i am doing research on offering semi-automated collateral loans (using altcoins) or using some smart contract on Ethereum.

Nice idea but the challenge is that you might be genuine but the friends you have on facebook do not have any idea about bitcoin peer to peer lending.
