Title: what is potential acitivity?
Post by: rslsrkr on February 10, 2016, 05:56:56 AM
I have seen users selling account which is Member account but has a potential sr. member with a certain post :https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1357838.0 and goes on sale for a high price.
I don't understand the whole thing.Sorry but I'm new to this and a quick search around the forum didn't go fruitful. Some light into this face would be much appreciated. What I don't understand when will it become sr. member or so.Is there a calculative timeframe?

potential activity is the activity points that a certain account can reach just by posting. accounts needs to have posted atleast once in every activity period so it would have 14 potential activity in each

potential activity = max activity (increases by 14 every 2 weeks if you made a post in that time period.).

get the current potential activity using some service (I recommend this one (http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/)) then look at this list of activity periods start dates (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/edit?pref=2&pli=1).

when a user is selling the member account but it has potential Sr.Member rank means , that account is created very long back and it has been used very rarely and it went till member account. for each account to get the rank up he has to post atleast 14 post then on the activity day his rank will get upgraded.

so if you post more and more than for this account you dont have to wait for 2 weeks to upgrade your account , in potential Sr.Member account you will be upgraded as soon as you post goes up according to the rank.

It's basically how much activity your account could have, if you posted up to that much. But it hasn't posted that much, so it had less activity. If you buy it and post more, it will become a senior member.

Activity is only related for postings and have nothing with how long did you stayed logged on forum.
14 posts is all that you need for next level of activity , but you have to wait 14 days updates ciclus.

Every 2 weeks, if you post, you are awarded 14 potential activity. Whenever you post, you take one potential activity and convert it into real activity. If you don't have potential activity, then you'll simply get a post
