I started a bitcoin fan page on instagram. My only intention is making bitcoin more popular and known among social media users. I would be happy if you join this fan page. The name of the page is "bitcointime"

Good to know that you started your own Bitcoin fan page on Instagram. I dont use Instagram as I dont like to take photos but I am sure there will be a few member following/liking you on Instagram. Anyway, I dont think this should be belong to the Project Development section as this is not really a project. I dont know, you may wait until a moderator to come. hfgl. :).

Thank you for your feedback. I had a feeling that I wasn`t posting on the right place. But didn`t know where to do it exactly either. It isn`t really a much of a project as you said. Let`s see where moderetor will send it to.

Gave you a caption tag on my 58k.. Probably won't help much right now as most of the followers are sleeping & most don't understand Bitcoin but it might help a bit.

Getting followers was not as easy as i though  :-\ I have just reached 200 today.

After checking your Instagram page, I would like to give some pointers:

1. Avoid using low quality pictures as it gets distorted (like those quote messages)
2. Avoid using services that makes you gain followers and extra likes (clearly on your few last pics) since the followers will disappear and most of them are fake and regarding the likes, it won't help in regards to get your page be known more
3. Be original
4. Use tags better so it would help to get the pictures out to a better audience

I just want to tell that you can also share more information about how to earn bitcoins, the easier ways probably and the benefits of bitcoin instead of cash.

This might be because of the anonymity factor involved with Bitcoin. How many people would follow you, if you created a fan page for people owning gold or diamonds? These people will worry about getting robbed, if they identify themselves with these groups.

The solution might be to create a fake Instagram account, but that would take too much effort to manage two or three accounts. ^hmmm^

Already followed I think you can make some giveaways on that profile for example all is liking and pressing on some short link (paid)  and one of them win for example 100k satoshis. :)

I don't use Instagram because I don't like to take a picture of everything everytime I go somewhere to show it to the others, but if someday I join it, I'll try to remember about you ;) !

I am planning to do something like that. But i have to get some more referrals. Perhaps i will do it when i hit 1k. Can anyone tell me how it works to create a qr code as a payment, and how one can recieve it?
