Well first you need to find a miner from here: https://www.bitmaintech.com/ (my recommendation )
Then you will have to pick a miner based on its speed and power use.
depending on your location and the electicity price you can see how much it would cost to power them per day.
then a place like coin wars can help you calculate how much you can earn

You have a LOT of reading to do.  This entire section is to mining Bitcoin, not altcoins.   And I don't think there really is a sha256 altcoin worth mining over BTC.   So pretty much you will mine BTC.

If you really want alt coin's then they do sell some scrypt asics... but a lot of it is dated.    So I would do BTC myself, and also check on ROI math before investing, it's becoming a hard game to get into.

You also have to be very careful when buying scrypt asics because if you don't do the math correctly you might end up losing a lot.

Bitcoin mining is no longer profitable (well to most) so I guess you should rather focus on altcoins and change the subject altogether :)

You need to wait for the release of the new 16 nm miner, the current s7 will not be profitable in a few months.

Most Scrypt asics are getting dated to.  There just is not near as much R/D in this sector as BTC miners.    I cant think of name there was one that made a dual... and decided to keep them all internal.

So a lot of the gear if someone releases a half way new one... they will just be blown away.  Heck A2's are still decent now they have LONG live past where I thought they would
