Wallets with text message verification are necessarily online wallets and if you want to store a nice amount of coins, you definitely don't want those kinds of wallets... You want an offline one and a computer for cold storage.

Check paper wallets, Electrum and Armory, their respective limitations and capabilities and choose the one you like the most.

If you want SMS verification, that means you want to use some 3rd party service to store your money.
I'd advice you use proper wallet for large amounts. If only you can access your money, that's the safest way to store.

Now, about your question, Bit-X clearly offers SMS authentication, though it's not really a wallet imho. And I think that XAPO has also SMS auth.

Blockchain.info, and about any online wallet that is decent will have 2FA. I would never use an online wallet for any amount of BTC that I was scared to lose tho, the rest you should put it on Core or paper wallets. But anything hosted on a browser should have 2FA.

if you are planning on buying a lot of bitcoin and storing it, i suggest you learn how cold storage works, because it is the safest way.
you can add the addresses (only address no private keys) to a watch only wallet in an online wallet like blockchain.info and they will send you SMS every time you send or receive bitcoin from/to those addresses.

I don't see how my bitcoins could get stolen via using online wallet with 2-FA....
(Text Message(SMS) verification)

Guys, if XAPO has it, can I trust them for a huge amount of money to store for me?

You can trust them as much as you would trust a third party to hold coins for you.

Doesn't really matter with blockchain.info as you store the private keys not them but if you have sloppy security you'll likely have your bitcoins stolen from your desktop wallet or paper wallet if your computer is compromised.

IF you 100% want sms verification then I'd go with blockchain.info. You can also set a second password to spend the funds and if anyone tries to log into your account from an unknown browser then they will need to verify it through your email too so blockchain.info is pretty safe but just make sure you're backed up and have written your wallet seed down etc. For long term storage though I would just make keep the money completely offline and safe until you need it.

You can try coinbase or xapo. I never tried blockchain before but you can try blockchain and find the 2 factor sms authentication.
To secured your wallet but for now i don't recommend blockchain i heard that they can crack your wallet in blockchain.. so its better to try other wallet for now..

Xapo as it!

Xapo doesn't verify the mobile number often (for each transaction/login). Sometimes this option can be checked for 60 days.

All wallets have a 2FA like blockchain, coinbase and xapo but if you need a safe wallet, paper wallets are the best.

I would suggest using a cold wallet like electrum or bitcoin core if you are willing to store a decent amount in it.

If you are very concerned about your money being stolen by the 3rd party... why don't you use the Bitcoin core? It is probably the safest wallet to store your 'hundreds of thousands of pounds'.
Or you can create a raw transaction and broadcast it over the bitcoin network... for every transaction. :O

You can trust them as much as you would trust a third party to hold coins for you.

I'm not sure about what you're trying to say with this?

Bitcoin is about giving the power of holding your funds back to you. Why would you trust a third party to hold them for you, especially since you're going to buy a nice sum of coins? It makes no sense. That's what we already have, it's called a bank, and it's the reason most people end up here.

Example: would you trust me to hold your coins? If you went on holidays, would you trust me the keys to your house?

There's a saying around the forum that goes "if you don't own your keys, you don't own any Bitcoin", and that's correct (we don't even need to talk about Mt. Gox, Cryptsy, etc to verify this statement as true).

So, in short, if you don't mind losing your coins, then yes, you can trust any wallet.

You have web wallets with 2FA/SMS. Examples have been given. Use them with caution and with amount you can afford to lose. If you want to store big amounts, a cold storage method is a must have.
