Can I recover password blockchain wallet?
if there is someone who can do that I would pay $ 100
My friend lost password he wanted someone to help

its not possible to recover the password unless you will use brute force but im not sure if you can use it in BC wallet

I think you have to contact the support team if anyone can help is they only, as if you lost the password did you activated the 2 factor authetication security , with that also i think you can get your password. If it was hardware wallet then you should have provided the seed key or wallet.dat file.

the support team can't help on lost password cases, it is clearly written in their FAQs so i guess the only way of recovering the password is by third party person that  can brute force it

you would need the wallet "words" its sort of a memonic phrase as far as i know and it needs sms verification as well to recover it else, its going to be useless.

Do you have the file they send you via mail? How complex is the password and how much of it do you remember? Brute force vs. their web interface is not feasible.

Yes its really difficult and impossible to recover the blockchain.com even i wasted my wallet but its really secure

Did you have a substantial amount of coins in the wallet?
Do you have the private key from the paper wallet tab in the wallet section?

If not then I think it's just a case of learning your lesson about password retention, hopefully you haven't lost much.

hey there is still one possibility if you have forgotten your password, priv key etc , and know the identifier then go to wallet and if you have saved mnemonic then you can recover easily , if not then maybe it's hard also the backup of your wallet must be in your email go and check if you have .

It is a series of words that is used in case to recover wallet if lost.It is given at registrations stage of wallet and they ask you to save it up .If you have those series of words saved up in a .txt file or somewhere else then you will be able to recover it.

Does your friend has any balance in it? I assume he has thats why he wants it back and willing to pay 100 $ but if someone does crack his account,why would he give him back for 100 $ when he can keep all that is in wallet?

This is a sad thing. I wrote my code on a copybook for safety. Just a tip for who doesn't keep it in somewhere.

Your only hope is the blockchain mnemonic which you are supposed to save as soon as you are given it, which is when you make the wallet. If your friend didn't save that, it's his fault, and (pardon my language) a pretty fucking dumb move on his part.

I'm not sure he had this code because the wallet is only used temporarily but I will try to contact hope he has the code  :)
